FM Assistant
Band 2 - £22,383 per annum pro rata (hourly rate £12.88p)
We have shifts available in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated team players to join an existing Estates & Facilities team to deliver Soft FM disciplines.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as having a flexible attitude, please also see job description for competencies.

The working hours are as follows:

Monday – Friday 08.00 – 20.00, Saturday 0800 – 20.00 & Sunday 08.00 – 20.00

To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas. This will include vacuuming floors; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; high and low dusting; wiping over and polishing (where applicable) both vertical and horizontal surfaces, mirrors, chairs*, bed frames*, bins, sani-bins; cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers; cleaning regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and others items in the kitchens; defrosting fridges on a regular basis; restocking consumables such as toilet tissue, handtowels, soap; descaling taps; and bins and replacing bin liners. (* Providing they have not been soiled with body fluids).

To participate in the provision of the in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust, which may include in-patient areas and retail outlets: The FM services comprises of the cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering services, however some of these services are unit specific.

staff and will be identified where appropriate but are not exhaustive.
You must be aware of the important part you play in maintaining the environment to an excellent standard.

You must also be aware that your work will involve working alongside patients and occasionally interacting with them as you carry out your duties outlined below.

You will be working as part of the Facilities Team and are expected to have a flexible approach to your duties.

You will be working as a valued member of the Estates & Facilities Management Team.

Team Leader for call and recall project across EPUT

As the Band 6 you will oversee the call and recall team; you will be required to support all clinical staff and be to be visible by both teams in Essex and BLMK.

Band 6 responsibilities to include allocation of lists/children to call, allocation of ‘on call nurse’ for clinical on call queries, off duty planning, reviewing clinic provision and staffing, arranging targeted school visits. Uptake reviews, audits and success stories-what’s working and what do we need to change.

Band 6 to work with the clinical delivery managers in all areas to discuss school visits required these may be extra to the BAU visits by CSAIS and will be organised separately however the lead nurse for the school will be included in email correspondence to ensure relationships are maintained.

EPUT ‘Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust’ is recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Team leader for the maternity immunisation team, working within our Essex wide immunisation service. The team leader will drive the delivery of the service primarily through a hospital based clinic model, offering all vaccinations including flu vaccination, pertussis and covid. The team leader will inspire others to deliver our high standards of service.

The team leader will:
• Demonstrate and maintain clinical credibility through the provision of hands on clinical care using evidence based practice within the immunisation services.
• Assist the Clinical Delivery manager to provide clinical support and facilitate development of immunisations within the school and clinic environments.
• Assist the Clinical Delivery manager and Professional lead to monitor standards and competencies within the teams and to participate in the design, implementation, and arrangement of individual or team training to improve standards and competencies as necessary.
• Contribute to and support the implementation of Clinical Governance frameworks within the teams to ensure safe practice that are compliant with the Nursing Midwifery Council’s (NMC) guidance and Trust Policies.
• Contribute to and support clinical and information governance audit including the implementation of recommendations.
• Participate in the review and updating of policies, guidelines and standards relating to the service.
• Participate in and support team members to attend clinical supervision and Safeguarding supervision.
