What you’ll be doing:

Develop innovative tracking models based on data requirements gathered, using tools such as Python and PowerBI, that showcase the performance of our products.
Construct a story from the insights derived from data to influence decisions.
Provide early warnings to our internal team so that action can be taken before third parties become aware.
Derive insight for the business utilising statistical and analytical methods.
Collaborate with Product Owners to identify strategic value opportunities.
Work in partnership with peers across business to deliver inputs to the overarching data strategy and communicate the same through various medium.

We’re recruiting for Senior Property Claims Handlers to join our growing team, based in our newly refurbished Bolton office. If you have a natural ability to relate to people and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, then you could be the perfect addition to our team.
Our Property Claims team is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property. As part of the wider Claims function including Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor, you'll contribute to the strategic objectives of AXA Commercial whilst helping our customers protect what matters most to them. Every claim is different and that’s what gives the job so much variety!

What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training. Due to the nature of the role, some claims are because of a distressing or simply unfortunate incident, so listening and acting with empathy is key.
Staying composed and level-headed when faced with challenges to effectively assist and support customers during their most critical moments of need.
Taking proactive measures and utilising available resources to ensure the best possible outcome for each customer, addressing their specific needs related to their incident or claim. This includes investigating and gathering evidence to help bring each claim to the point of conclusion.
Respond promptly to calls, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, precise and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer.
Recognising the signs of a fraudulent claim and referring these for further investigation where needed.

Working Hours and Shift Pattern: Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, a total of 35 hours per week, with no weekend work required!
Training:
You’ll have a structured onsite training programme with one of our specialist Trainers. Following training and once you’re more competent in the role, you’ll move to a hybrid way of working; working at least 40% of your week away from home at our Bolton office.

It’s an exciting time to join the Motor Engineering department here at AXA. As an In-house Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise to our Motor Claims Department, Brokers and Customers while successfully managing and controlling damage spend on Motor Insurance Claims.
You’ll be instrumental to the team by undertaking remote vehicle inspections using the most appropriate methods such as written reports, data, and digital imaging, to ensure the accurate valuing of the motor vehicle claims. You’ll be working to agreed timescales and business parameters, depending on the business needs.
Audit and evaluate performance of repairer, making recommendations regarding repair quality, repair costs and customer service.
Building and maintaining professional working relationships with a range of suppliers.
Supporting all aspects of the business to assist in the claims process for both insured and third party in order expedite settlement and minimise cost.
Ensuring all work is carried out within agreed KPI’s and SLA’s and in accordance with our company values.
