What you'll be doing;

• Maximize facility throughput by organizing and completing routine maintenance and shutdown work on all plant and equipment
  
• Provide hands-on electrical and technical support to production and other internal functions
  
• Perform PLC fault-finding, programming, and repairs on PLC-controlled machinery in heavy industry/manufacturing environments
  
• Provide plant-wide electrical maintenance services, departmental support, and repairs on various machinery like conveyors, presses, molding machines, and packaging equipment
  
• Manage workflow between shifts, allocate work for weekend shutdowns, and plan electrical work during the week
  
• Supervise on-shift technicians, distribute labor appropriately, and complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime
  
• Plan and schedule all maintenance aspects of the plastic recycling facility, minimizing disruption and maximizing uptime and availability
  
• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on various plant and equipment, including conveyors, dryers, balers, low-voltage equipment, pumps, motors, gearboxes, drives, centrifuges, material handling equipment, extruders, auxiliaries, hydraulics, pneumatics, and separation technology
  
• Ensure management of contractors on site, review risk assessments and method statements, and enforce safe working practices
  

What we're looking for;

• Recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, etc.)
  
• PLC fault-finding and programming experience
  
• Proven experience working at a high level with material handling equipment
  
• Experienced with conveyors, balers, low voltage equipment, pumps, motors, plant auxiliaries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical/optical separation, magnetic and eddy current separation technology
  
• Comprehensive practical experience in maintenance within a process industry, preferably in a recycling environment (though not essential)
  
• Enthusiastic and competent problem-solver with a practical approach to engineering problems
  
• Ability to demonstrate analytical approach to investigation and practical ability to resolve engineering problems
  
• Experience with low voltage power systems, control systems, and software (DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC)

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

• A valid driver's license is essential for travel between sites.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings (for C&S) and review sessions when required
• Enforce BIM strategies, processes and standards, model content and quality control for the discipline/assigned scope of works
• Implement and manage BIM Execution Plan

Purpose and Scope

The Contracts Engineering team plays a pivotal role in managing the financial & contractual provisions which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial & contractual provisions of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts etc
• Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing
• Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements
• Prepare project budgeting and costing reports
• Responsible in cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations and final accounts.
• Review of contracts, prepare tender & contract documentations, tender analysis & reporting, measurement etc
• Review sub-contractors claims and materials on site
• Standardize all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy

Requirements:

• Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry.
• Strong in negotiation skills.
• Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application.

Under the supervision of a member of Clinical Engineering, undertake repair, calibration and maintenance of a range of medical equipment located in Trust wards, department and community services.2. Integrate conflicting elements and work to international standards and departmental quality system when identifying, evaluating and selecting solutions.3. In association with the Head of EBME and other staff, identify customer requirements. Review requirements against safety and other standards to identify conflicting issues, and any limitations and implications.4. Assist with the risk assessment and evaluation of devices.5. Adapt existing equipment to meet changing customer requirements.6. Carry out calibration and quality control on a range of medical equipment under supervision of a member of Clinical Engineering.7. Work carried out will comply with set procedures and conform to the appropriate quality and safety standards as directed a member of Clinical Engineering.8. Take responsibility for the quality of own work produced. Managerial 1. Keep careful records of all work performed and complete other appropriate records.2. Participate and have input in regular Section meetings.3. Take care of high value tools, equipment and systems while in use by the post holder. Keep workshop facilities clear and well ordered. Ensure damage to, or faults are reported to the EBME Technicians Supervisors.4. Propose changes to the Departmental Quality System and other policies and procedures.5. Report to the Head of EBME any perceived deficiencies in personal training required to competently perform required duties.6. Be familiar with and follow the Trusts incident reporting procedure.7. Receive goods and equipment into the Section and process required paperwork. Teaching, training and research 8. Assist in the development, clinical trials and evaluation of medical equipment. Professional 9. Keep abreast of technical developments. Enrol in appropriate Continuing Professional Development programmes. Attend suitable seminars and courses as part of personal development and to further the work of the Department.10. Ensure all activities are carried out within a quality framework and meet regulatory requirements, professional standards and accepted guidelines. Miscellaneous1. Implement and ensure compliance with an accredited Quality System in the areas of work for which the post holder carries responsibility.2. Propose changes to Departmental Quality System and other policies and procedures.3. Carry out all duties in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Conduct and Local Rules.4. Work outside normal working hours on occasion when required.5. When working in other departments, the appointee will liaise with local heads of department, medical consultants, superintendents, senior nursing staff or their representatives as appropriate, adhering to local policies and practices. The post holder will behave courteously and professionally at all times and seek to ensure that the highest level of service is provided by Clinical Engineering.6.
