Key responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to replacing seat covers, window films, seat bases, armrests, table tops and toilet fixtures and fittings. Foster a customer -centric approach, creating a positive and welcoming environment for passengers by attentively maintaining the train interiors
• Conduct comprehensive internal and external cleaning, which encompasses tasks such as graffiti removal.
• Carry out first level fault finding of toilet faults
• Prepare trains for seasonal conditions by executing winterisation procedures, conducting sanding operations to enhance traction and safety, and ensuring optimal fluid levels, including replenishing screen wash and anti ice fluid.
• Assist with Depot/Sidings winterisation including application of anti-ice/de-icing products to walkways and roadways, conductor rails (under isolation) and snow clearance.
• Ensure the proper use and preparation of tooling and equipment at the start and end of each shift, promptly reporting any faulty equipment and actively participating in maintenance procedures. Additionally, manage the inventory levels of materials, machines, and tools, promptly reporting any shortages.

About The Team

The TikTok Data Ecosystem Team has the vital role of crafting and implementing a storage solution for offline data in TikTok's recommendation system, which caters to more than a billion users. Their primary objectives are to guarantee system reliability, uninterrupted service, and seamless performance. They aim to create a storage and computing infrastructure that can adapt to various data sources within the recommendation system, accommodating diverse storage needs. Their ultimate goal is to deliver efficient, affordable data storage with easy-to-use data management tools for the recommendation, search, and advertising functions.

What you will be doing:

1. Responsible for the design and development of distributed database Hbase-related components.

2. Responsible for the design and development of single-node LSM engine Rocksdb-related components.

Qualifications

What you should have:

- Bachelor's Degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields, with 4+ years of relevant development experience in the field with a strong programming ability, and proficiency in one of C/C++/Java;

- In-depth understanding of the architecture and principles of distributed systems;

- A willingness to tackle challenging problems without clear solutions, a strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies, and prior experience in managing large-scale data.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Embrace the use of open-source software, possess a track record of involvement in open-source projects, and demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for engaging with the latest and most advanced technologies.

- Exhibit knowledge in distributed consensus algorithms like Paxos/Raft.

- Show familiarity with distributed transaction models.

- Demonstrate proficiency in typical storage engines, including RocksDB, and have a deep understanding of the inner workings of Redis at the low-level code level.

- Display expertise in low-level aspects of operating systems, with a background in optimizing system performance for TCP/IP, I/O operations, and other critical component

About your role

• Lead the design and development of cutting-edge 3D machine vision systems tailored for industrial robotic use cases, ensuring high precision and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers and software developers, to integrate 3D machine vision technology seamlessly into robotic applications.
• Oversee the integration of 3D sensors with robotic systems, optimizing their performance and accuracy.
• Develop and refine algorithms for data acquisition, image processing, and object recognition to enable advanced visual perception capabilities for robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical challenges related to machine vision technology, ensuring robust and reliable operation within industrial environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in the design and development of 3D machine vision systems, particularly in industrial or robotic applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of 3D sensors, as well as processing and manipulation of point cloud and mesh.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
