As a Test Engineer -Process, you will lead the Project improvement in Burn In area, and support execution and manufacturing issues related to Test Process, and continue improve manufacturing issues with new ideas from time to time through close collaboration across teams and disciplines. Position Summary:

The Sustaining Program Manager (SPM) leads & drives deliverables through Sustaining Core Team (SCT) with full program/s ownership by prioritizing resources to ensure sustaining products (higher volume products) consistently meet volume requirement, quality & reliability, engineering KPI and cost goals.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain customer-specific product requirements, assess and recommend engineering solutions, upon approval from SCT, drive execution to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Define and drive product recipe ramp and depletion strategy that meets overall customer and WD business needs.

Requirements:

Engineer under Product Development Team will be responsible for Platform (SSD) Test Development activities in relation to NPI Product Test Development. Scope of engineering work encompasses following:

• Participates in designing a complete comprehensive framework of Functional Product Test Plan for any specific Memory or SSD product (SATA,SAS,PCIe).
• Participates in designing processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
• Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.
• Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
• Participates in designing, developing, and implementing effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for NPI phases of product development and manufacturing.
• Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain SMT/FCA/UF equipment such as solder printer, solder paste inspection, 2D/3D automated optical inspection, chip shooter, reflow/curing oven, deflux cleaner, flip chip bonder, underfill dispenser, carrier machine, and plasma machine (All SMT/FC/UF tools).
• Process Monitoring: Monitor and control the SMT/FCA/UF processes to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. This includes validating defects and ensuring process parameters are within established limits.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to SMT/FCA/UF processes and assist equipment alarm related to the Recipe/Program.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot process-related issues, and root cause definition, and implement corrective/preventative actions to ensure continuous operation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and other technicians to optimize processes and resolve issues. Provide feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
