The Role
As a Principal Process Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide leadership in the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for resolving a range of technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations; providing, reviewing and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:
- Coach, mentor and assist others on matters pertaining to their own discipline.
- Developi business awareness.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Work independently with limited technical direction or as part of a small team.
- Work as a subject matter expert in a specialist subject area.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Bristol, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential Experience of the Principal Process Engineer
- Demonstratable experience in managing teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types.
- Proven experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
- Ideally, you would have had experience of working in the nuclear sector but, this is not essential.
Qualifications for the Principal Process Engineer
- It is a requirement to hold a Chemical Engineering degree.
- You must be a chartered chemical engineer.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
