GEA is one of the largest suppliers for the food and beverage processing industry and a wide range of other process industries. We are looking for a Sales Engineer/ Sales Manager ideally from the Dairy, Food and/or Beverage process Industry, with a sales background who is looking to develop and grow their career in our Thailand organization.
Ideally, you should have in knowledge of the Dairy, Food and/or Beverage process Industry and a track record of successfully promoting and selling related range of products or services to our GEA customers and develop new relationships within Thailand.
You also have a good reputation in the industry stated and are well connected especially with plant owners, managers, operators, contractors & consultants within Thailand. The role will require you to carry out hands-on and practical product presentation onsite, customers offices and HQ’s.
Responsibilities / Tasks
· Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.
· Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements to sales and business development.
· Collaborate with different business units in a matrix organization to ensure coordinated efforts.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
· Frequently update sales activities on CRM software.
· Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments e.g. Services, Project Execution and sales colleagues from other departments, in order to be able to offer solutions that fulfill the customer’s needs
· Conduct product presentations and demonstration to key customers regularly, converting leads to sales and benefits to customer and GEA
· Build a strong relationship with new and existing customers to ensure that the yearly sales targets are met or exceeded.
· Engage in commercial negotiation with customers with sales support and GEA legal team.
· Participate in trade-shows and events within Thailand
· Required to travel extensively.
Your Profile / Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
· 1-5 years of experience in industrial sales or a relevant technical field.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good Command of English & Computer Literate.
· Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic sales environment.
· Self-starter, well organized and having positive mindset.
