Job Descriptions:

• Provide L2 support for Windows servers and database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication or certificate management related topics.
• Support release activities together with our stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the relevant support team to ensure timely resolution of user issues and efficient escalation processes.
• Must respond to Customers’ concerns and complaints in an adequate manner.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and system configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshooting, Incident Management & Resolution.
• Work to comply with SLA and OLA
• Responsible in POC preparation, Installation & Testing
• Responsible for UAT, trouble shooting, support & maintenance

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree or other equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of support experience
• At least 2 years of working experience in the following technologies: Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, SAN storage, Hyper-Converged-Infrastructure
• A strong interest in working information technology environments.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
• Able to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders both in written and verbal forms • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Works effectively both as a team member and independently
• Experience with Cisco network devices (switches, routers).

Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting an M+E contractor in Gloucester with the recruitment of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for leading the mechanical design process from concept through to completion, including producing detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations, collaborating with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into the overall project design, as well as preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications and documentation.

You will conduct site inspections and liaise with the construction team to ensure successful implementation of projects, participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design solutions effectively along with providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Need To Succeed

You will have strong mechanical engineering experience in designing solutions ideally for commercial and industrial applications, CIBSE chartered status or progressing towards is advantageous as well as AutoCAD/Revit competence.

What You'll Get In Return

This role is offered with a salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum on a permanent contract.

The intention behind this role is to provide this expertise through technical leadership and coordination within a cross-organisation team of Scientific Software Engineers and Data Scientists, primarily by taking on the role of Scrum Master.
