About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to provide senior level mechanical, electrical, and process design for the development of new X-ray products and related infrastructure. Key responsibilities:

- Drive and maintain Engineering elements of Document Control such as change notifications, CAD modelling, drawings, BOMs, assembly and product trees.
- Lead design teams, mentor peers, demonstrate innovation.
- Demonstrate Product Life Cycle excellence by embracing Stage Gate Process for product development, Sustaining engineering, and Obsolescence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years X-ray industry manufacturing and development experience.

Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected base salary for this position is between $100,000

Essential duties:

Component fine pitch soldering and de-soldering.

Wire crimping and harnessing.

Minor mechanical assembly.

Able to perform fine-pitch soldering, a must.

Performs various complex electronic assembly operations such as Harnessing and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) builds.

Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing various complex electronic assembly operations.

Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.

Records information on production records, logs and other report forms.

Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.

Must be able to operate microscope for extended periods of time, follow drawings, torque tools, measuring devices.

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

At least a minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

J-STD--001, IPC-A-610 or IPC-620 certified strongly preferred.

Job Description Summary

Perform work tasks assigned, work with maintenance mechanics and direct and assign work tasks to maintenance personnel under their responsibility. Individual will work with the Supervisor to evaluate needs for all scheduled and non-scheduled work requests and special projects.

Utilize the Building Management System (BMS) to control Utilities equipment and systems including various steam, water purification, refrigeration, wastewater, compressed air/gas systems, and hazardous chemicals.

• Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, and various client organizations as necessary to minimize Manufacturing impact and insure equipment availability.
• Troubleshooting: Must be proficient in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical failures.
• Ensure that all systems including boilers, clean steam generators, water for injection stills, reverse osmosis units, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, wastewater flows and associated equipment functions correctly and ability to perform PM’s, repairs and troubleshoot where needed.
• Respond to a wide range of mechanical and electrical problems and troubleshoot to repair.
• Document problems encountered and communicate these though work order systems, electronic mail, and voice systems.
• Perform inspections on all utility systems and associated equipment.

·  Assist in the preparation of quotes, RFx's responses, and forecasts.

Experience:

·  Building network cost models that drive optimization of network designs.

·  Understanding basic concepts of Data Center architectures, spine and leaf designs, edge networking, routing, switching, and optical transport.

·  Familiarity with cloud architecture and deploying/running applications in a cloud environment.

As part of a data company, Homes.com plays a strategic role in the design and implementation of the data that powers our consumer websites, customer portals, and countless other data products. Primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of management, reporting, portal, and other systems that support our consumer, customer, executive, sales, marketing, and research experiences. Responsibilities:

• Leverage your TSQL and SSIS skills in the development of our next generation data platforms that drives the data that is displayed on Homes.com
• Use your Data Warehouse experience to help design and develop Homes.com DW that’s heavily used by internal customers for Business Intelligence, KPI monitoring, and driving Product
• Ensure systems are designed for scale and be able to test for load and analyze results
• Participate in the quality assurance on the systems we build to keep our platform accurate and reliable
• Work well in small, tight knit agile teams

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 5+ years in SQL Server development in a large-scale enterprise application environment, including:
  • Stored procedure and query development
  • Performance tuning, indexing techniques, and materialized views
  • Schema design
  • Data integration using SQL Server Integration Services or equivalent
  • Experience working with RDS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
  • SQL Server Availability Groups
  • Columnstore design, loading, and analysis
  • Replication and bulk data propagation techniques
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Expert level proficiency with T-SQL
  • Advanced skills and experience with ETL concepts and SSIS
  • Advanced skills and experience with data modeling (Logical and Physical)

The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD).
