General Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and thorough testing strategies.
Perform rigorous testing of software and systems, including functional, performance, and integration testing.
Identify and document defects and issues, collaborating closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
Implement test automation frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency and repeatability.
Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not introduce new issues.
Uphold high-quality standards by performing continuous verification and validations of systems.
Maintain detailed records of test plans, test cases, test results, and issue tracking, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific testing requirements and provide updates on testing progress.
Identify areas for process enhancement in the testing lifecycle, contributing to the optimization of project quality.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and scripting languages.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field is advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The delivery of design outputs commensurate with industry and customer standards for use on the customer project.

Specific delivery requirements:
The Consultancy is to deliver engineering design outputs to meet the programme schedule, monitored, adjusted and mutually agreed with Client Delivery Manager and Project Manager over the given timeframe.
Support Client at any customer liaison meetings.
Each delivery shall have no fundamental engineering issues that affect compliance, fit, form or function.
All other issues must be resolved withing one loop of rework.
Under these two criteria the delivery will be considered “On Quality”, all rework outside of this is considered to be at the consultancy services cost.
Changes in customer requirements will not be counted as not on quality.
Each delivery shall be in line as agreed with Client Delivery Manager/Capability Manager.
On Time Delivery of 95% is expected, additional time spent on late deliveries is considered to be at the consultancy services cost.
The Consultancy is to provide weekly timesheets and a monthly Milestone completion certificate to be used during the reconciliation process.

Deliverables:
Embody Change Requests to models/drawings
Design UMC 2D to 3D Production draw sets

Specific Skills. CAD NX (creation of 3D draw sets). Liaison with team and customer.
Specific experience. Atleast 5 years experience in aerostructures Design.
UK BPSS cleared for customer Commercial Platform Aerospace work package.

Responsibilities:

· Providing conceptual and detailed designs to satisfy project requirements

· Preparing design support documentation, conducting design calculations, and maintaining concise engineering records

· Production of drawing packs in line with configuration management processes

· Producing Mechanical Designs and Drawings

· Conducting engineering investigations for existing product improvements

· Conducting research and collating data as required for trade studies

Job Description:

Build Teams that are defining the test hardware requirements to integrate the test hardware into Test rigs that the individual will have designed.

The test rigs will be testing items with physical loads, electrical systems – most of which will involve a cryogenic element achieved through use of cold gas.

A designer with a flexible and broad-based engineering background is preferred with experience designing & integrating demonstration experimental rigs. Familiarity with HV & LV wiring & connector selection / integration cryogenics and Hydrogen installations would be beneficial for the role.

15+ years' experience in the analysis of aerostructures design, development, projects with hands-on metallic and composite structures analysis using FEA and classical hand analysis method.
Current or past Approver or checker delegation is an advantage.
Good knowledge of aerospace materials knowledge, standards & specifications.
Engineering activities in support of work to PDR for Wing/Empennage and boom aero structures.
Both metallic and composite capability required with mix of experience to perform check for Analysis.
Expertise in Hypersizer, HyperX is mandatory for composites design & optimization.

Candidate Requirements:

Experienced in airframe structure design engineering development.
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering graduate or post graduate with a minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in executing Design activities.
Having experience working on eVTOL aircraft design, build and test related work is an advantage for this position.
Must to have skills:

Design engineering experience and coordinate with an authorized Design Approver Signatory on Airframe structure - metallic and/or composite aero structures.
Excellent knowledge of Aero structures, Wing, Empennage and Fuselage.

Job Description:

Candidate with experience in providing design and build services to a customer for a prototype electrical vertical take-off/landing aircraft.
The Design engineer along with a team is required to be provided through a capacity offload solution to prepare composite and metallic structure detail and assembly definitions.
The role requires to delivery professional design engineering services per week for the stated duration of this engagement providing design, and design checking capability.
The design engineer along with a team of engineers must be capable of delivering design engineering, including but not limited to creation and cross check of model-based definitions within the 3D Experience digital mock-up (DMU).
The design engineer along with a team of engineers must be able to act as an independent team, however, there may be occasions when some engagement with other relevant engineering teams to ensure compatibility and continuity of design is maintained. In particular, co-ordination with the Systems Integration team members is essential to ensure structure is considerate of systems routing needs.
The design engineer along with a team of engineers will report via a designated Lead through to the relevant Design Lead for the Programme(s).
Delivery will require some physical attendance at customer facilities for key meetings and design reviews, although an element of hybrid working between customer offices and Supplier offices is considered to be acceptable.
