Your new role
In your capacity as a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing product quality. You'll be responsible for monitoring product performance, investigating quality issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective solutions. This role involves managing quality assurance processes and overseeing various inspections and audits, ensuring that the clients' products consistently meet and exceed industry standards.
The role will be office based, working 37.5hrs per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring product quality and reporting to the Management Team.
• Investigating product quality issues to establish root causes and liaising with Product Engineers and the factory to implement improvements.
• Timely resolution of quality issues through robust root cause analysis and implementation of permanent and preventative corrective actions.
• Providing Quality Engineering support for the development of FMEA's, quality control, and test plans as part of the product Life Cycle Management process.
• Reviewing customer complaints as necessary.
• Managing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), including factory self PDI's, the clients China Quality Engineers, and 3rd Party PDI's.
• Managing and undertaking Goods Inwards (GI) inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
• Quality control of products being reworked, writing rework instructions, and ensuring adherence.
• Managing factory desktop or 3rd party audits, including ethical audits, and instructing the Far East team in factories manufacturing the products.
• Leading the management of Quality Assurance and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will need:

• A strong background in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance, ideally within the electrical sector.
• Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Proficiency in report writing, particularly in creating 8D reports to communicate findings effectively.
• Experience with electrical installation products will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with a methodical and organised mindset.

As an Engineering Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in our Purchasing team, driving procurement activities across the business. * Previous experience of dealing with procuring Machined Parts and dealing with Sub-Contract suppliers regarding plating and finishing of components.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
* Highly proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail, with an impeccable, thorough and accurate approach.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
* Full clean driving licence.
Desirable:* Ideally, MCIPS qualified or working towards.

Your responsibilities as an IT support engineer include (but are not limited to):

• Utilise your technical expertise to diagnose issues with a variety of computer hardware, such as desktops, laptops, and printers, as well as software problems reported to the support desk.

JOB OVERVIEWWorking a rotating early and late shift in a production
environment servicing, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults on fork lift trucks.
Main Duties

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing & repair of Diesel, Gas & Electric FLT's. The candidate must have fault-finding diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic systems and provide effective solutions.
• Replacement of faulty parts and repairs, ensuring excellent workmanship whilst responding promptly to breakdowns, troubleshoot quickly & efficiently to minimize downtime is essential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• We are looking for someone who works well within a team and
  singly whilst being able to use their own initiative to ensure efficient workflow & documentation. The successful candidate must be able to work to the processes and procedures of the company.
  The client has a large Fleet of electric FLT's, therefore electrical skills a must.
  City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3, or with a proven background within the forklift industry.
• We require someone with a methodical & well-organized approach to tasks whilst adhering to safety standards and have excellent reporting and customer facing skills. A skilled & experienced Forklift Engineer, ideally with Jungheinrich & Linde experience would be preferable.
  Current FLT Licence advantageous but training can be provided.
