• Act as the primary point of contact with internal administrative functions to include Procurement, Finance, and Legal to enable the execution of the clinical activities.
• Serve as the main document control coordinator ensuring proper version control during critical document reviews and subsequent publication. 
• Assist with oversight of outside vendors, consultants, and clinical research organizations (CROs) and coordinate the needed interactions with internal vendors.
• Maintain, and continuously improve clinical veterinary operation functions. 
• Aid in developing additional tools and refining processes to ensure all clinical veterinary projects run efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure that assigned projects are properly monitored, and that data are accurate and collected uniformly among the various investigative study sites.
• Participate in regular meetings, follow-up on assigned tasks and issues, and transfer of important information to management.
• Assist in the coordination of all study activities, including start up, Investigator training, study conduct, site monitoring and close out.
• Assists Clinical Development with tasks required to conduct clinical veterinary studies during all phases of an assigned project or program.
• Assists in the authoring of clinical study protocols, amendments, deviations, and final reports as required.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution for the timely completion of all clinical studies.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in STEM is required.   
• Minimum 2 years as a clinical study coordinator/monitor in the pharmaceutical industry; preferably in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry. 
• Experience conducting/monitoring studies to Good Clinical Practice and/or Good Laboratory Practice standards.
• Experience with electronic data capture platform/ eClinical software.
• Experience working with Clinical Trial Management software platforms.
• Ability to multi-task and successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A growth mindset with a proactive approach to challenges is a plus.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of cloud-based applications.  Proficiency in MS Word and scientific writing is a must.

Expected Salary Range :

$91,300-$108,000

Job Summary

The Clinical Education Consultant provides customers with clinical, functional, and operational expertise in the following areas: educational and systems development consulting, product line utilization management and services, and clinical sales-related support to the Account Executives and Sales Management. Responsibilities

Reporting into our Sr. Regional Sales Manager, the Account Executive - Field (Houston) is responsible for supporting our incredible mission by achieving assigned revenue targets within their designated territory (Houston TX Area).  They will participate in developing marketing and sales campaigns to meet and/or exceed expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use sales techniques to develop and otherwise pursue new and expansion sales opportunities in the territory through phone calls, in-person presentations, web-based demonstrations, and email campaigns.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasting, sales pipeline, customer database records.

• Provide sales quotes and proposals to customers.

• Bring and maintain industry knowledge.

• Improve selling skills and product knowledge by attending all sales meetings and training sessions.

• Use Salesforce.com CRM and other data management tools to keep track of all active opportunities. Update daily, weekly, and monthly.

• Collaborate with manager and other internal partners to build strategy for goal achievement and territory management.

• Contribute as teammate and peer to other Account Executive - Field roles in the region.

• Support product marketing activities to help generate leads and opportunities.

• Attend regional conferences as agreed upon with your manager.

• Attend national conferences that may occur in the territory.

• Consistently achieve predetermined territory goals.

• Demonstrate professionalism across various work environments.

• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time during peak selling season.

• Be informed of funding opportunities in assigned territory and keep districts and management updated on critical deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required. An education or related background is preferred.

• Minimum 3+ years of success in K-12 sales; demonstrated success in both literacy curriculum and educational technology sales preferred.

• Ability to demonstrate and sell an online, digital literacy product/solution.

• Experience in public speaking with strong oral and written communication skills

• Experience using database management systems. Salesforce.com preferred.

• Experience using Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience using online meeting technology.

• Skilled at generating new business prospects and markets.

• Valid driver’s license, a good driving record. Prior experience selling to school- and district-level literacy curriculum decision-makers and influencers in the elementary K12 market.

• Experience using Salesforce.com for forecasting and tracking opportunities.

• Possess state and district level ELA and/or Technology contacts in territory.

• Knowledge of online curriculum products and services.

Your new role
As a senior Machine Learning specialist you will be involved in the development and validation of the company's computational platform, working with a number of internal stakeholders and senior management to drive projects forward related to target identification and biomarker discovery.
You will help manage bioinformatics and computational projects within drug discovery & development, looking at algorithm and model development & implementation. You will also be working closely with biology and computer science / software colleagues to support them on cross-functional projects.
The role can be remote with the occasional day in the office.


What you\'ll need to succeed
Aside from the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team, you should have:

• A PhD (or equivalent experience) in maths, biology, bioinformatics, physics, statistics, data science or a related subject.
  Candidates without a PhD but with a background in the biotech/pharma industry are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience using Machine Learning (and ideally Deep Learning) approaches to model/predict or analyse biological data sets
• Hands-on expertise of designing, managing and delivering computational projects and analyses of large-scale biological data sets: eg bulk / scRNAseq, protein structural modelling or protein sequence data
• Good programming skills in Python and/or R, eg having developed or optimised tools, pipelines, algorithms or similar
• Experience with Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar
• The ability to work well in a cross-functional team and explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders, eg biologists
• An interest in problem-solving

Candidates who have used advanced ML approaches, eg LLMs, transformers or similar approaches are at an advantage, as are those who have a track record of developing ML based algorithms.
An interest in, or experience of, structural modelling of proteins, eg using AlphaFold2, ESMfold, or similar would be a plus

- A broad and current knowledge of trends and best practice in management and leadership development
- Experience in facilitating and presenting across all levels of an organisation
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- An understanding of blended learning and where it works best in its application
- Ability to translate content into learning interventions that enable the learners to acquire and apply their learning back in the workplace
- Good level of planning and organisational skills and be able to work alone and meet tight deadlines
- Be flexible to travel UK wide when required for bid meetings, or delivery of face-to-face training.

The Clinical Coordinator, School of Education (CC) is the liaison for the University and school districts for placing credential candidates in clinical settings. The CC oversees and maintains the University Clinical Supervisors and their assignments. In coordination with the Teacher Accreditation Department (TAD) and Director of Clinical Practice, the CC will arrange and be the leader in arranging, developing, and delivering fieldwork orientations for education credential candidates and University Supervisors. The CC will serve as a liaison with School of Education designees, working closely with education program faculty and staff to assure comprehensive service to credential candidates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Liaison with local school districts.  Identify and contact schools/districts to place student teachers and other education credential candidates, in accordance with CTC requirements.

• Identify, recruit, recommend for hiring and termination of University Clinical Supervisors
• Assign University Clinical Supervisors to fieldwork students
• Participate in training of University Clinical Supervisors
• Follow up on (a) University Clinical Supervisors and their evaluations of candidates; (b) Candidates and their evaluations of University Clinical Supervisors and district supervisors, i.e., master teachers; (c) District supervisors and their evaluations of candidates and University Clinical Supervisors 
• Provide pay requests for University Clinical Supervisors and district supervisors to Central Office
• Maintain database for education candidates to assure all are placed in clinical settings upon completion of course work, CTC requirements, and university requirements.
• Conduct orientation with University Clinical Supervisors and candidates prior to commencing fieldwork so that all are aware of expectations as described in the various program Clinical Experience Handbooks. 
• In coordination with the University Clinical Supervisor and the district supervisor, counsel and develop action plans for candidates who are experiencing difficulty in fieldwork.  Notify the Director of Clinical Practice as to the additional support being provided, and the response to it.
• Identify school districts needing agreements and notify the Central Office of any changes or issues.
• Perform other duties, as assigned

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution
• 5+ plus years teaching experience at the K-12 level
• Experience working with credential candidates in a university setting
• Current California teaching credential required
• Current administrative services credential desired.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of CTC Common Standards and Program Standards, as they apply to clinical fieldwork, is required. 
• Working knowledge of the Cal TPAs and Cal APAs is also required.
• Ability to develop and maintain databases
• Ability to effectively work within a collaborative environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Current California teaching credential
• Master’s Degree in appropriate field or equivalent
• Current California administrative services credential
• K-12 administration experience 3+ years, preferably as a department head, principal, program director, or superintendent
