SRG requires the services of an experienced Safety and Training Coordinator at our Whyalla SA operations. This position is DIDO on a 4/3 roster.
  Key Responsibilities:

Providing support to management and employees
Ensuring best practice principles are adhered to
Risk assessments and accident investigations
Implementing and monitoring OHS Management Systems
Site based Training and Assessing
Ensuring all site training personnel files comply with SRG standards
Developing SWPs and assessments in conjunction with management
Development of site based personnel skills

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Cert IV in Training and Assessing
Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

INDMIX

• You will serve as the Production and Broadcast Studio Manager overseeing the stand-up, operation, and maintenance of the school’s state-of-the-art satellite broadcast studio.

About the Job:

As a special needs education teaching assistant, you will assist the learning of the children individually or in small groups, sometimes with support from other members of staff. However, you will need to provide personalised attention to each student that you work with through further learning exercises and private sessions practicing verbal, visual and kinaesthetic learning techniques to unlock the pupil's potential. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs; CLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD and Autism. Previous experience of working in schools or working with young people is desirable, however is not essential. For instance, you can use braille for children with visual impairment, sign language for deaf students and computers to assist children with dyslexia. You may also partake within movement therapy for those students that struggle to concentrate in lessons.
