Hays are working with a vibrant and welcoming school located in the heart of Coventry. This school is searching for a dedicated Year 2 teacher to join their team for two terms, from January to July. Please note, this position will not extend beyond this period as the current teacher will resume their duties in the new academic year.

Your new role
As a Year 2 teacher, you will undertake all teaching responsibilities akin to those of a permanent staff member. You will collaborate closely with other teachers in your Year 2 team for lesson planning. Responsibilities include attending staff meetings, participating in teacher training days, assisting in or leading end-of-year assemblies, and completing reports. You will be compensated according to your teaching scale point.
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid QTS and can referee your last teaching post
- You must be a confident and passionate teacher that loves teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1.
- You must be a good communicator, have good patience, be adaptable as well as creative.
