What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

• Conducting assessments and observations of learners in both the workplace and classroom setting
• Providing constructive feedback and support to learners to help them meet the required standards
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date assessment records and documentation
• Collaborating with the training team to develop and improve assessment materials
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical installations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Fully qualified electricians (JIB Gold Card equivalent) with at least three years' electrical experience
• Good communication skills nurturing and encouraging person
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Happy to undergo a DBS check
• Full driving licence

My client is offering an annual salary up to £38k with assessing experience

**Job Description**

The Transport Planner will be responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of the general haulage operations. This role requires a detail- orientated individual with strong organisational skills and experience in transport planning. The successful candidate will ensure effective utilisation of the fleet, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with all transport regulations.



**Key Responsibilities: **



Transport Planning:


* Develop and implement effective transport plans for general haulage operations to meet customer delivery requirements
* Optimise routing and scheduling of vehicles to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Monitor and adjust transport plans as necessary to address changes in demand or unforeseen issues.

Fleet Management:


* Coordinate the allocation and utilisation of vehicles for general haulage to meet operational needs.
* Liaise with the company workshop to ensure all vehicles are maintained in good working condition and scheduled for regular servicing.
* Manage the documentation and records related to vehicle usage, maintenance and compliance.

Regulatory Compliance:


* Ensure all general haulage operations comply with relevant regulations, including health and safety, environmental policies, and legal requirements.
* Stay up to date with changes in transport legislation and industry best practices. Communication and Coordination:
* Liaise with drivers and customers to ensure smooth general haulage operations.
* Discover, develop and maintain new business relationships with customers
* Provide clear instructions and support drivers regarding routes, schedules and delivery requirements.
* Address any issues or delays promptly and effectively, maintaining high standards of customer service.

Continuous Improvement


* Monitor key performance indicators, produce regular reports on idling, fuel usage and general operations
* Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Participate in initiatives aimed at improving overall operational performance
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs in general haulage operations



Qualifications and Experience


* Proven experience in transport planning, particularly within the general haulage sector
* Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements - Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in transport planning software
* Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management is a plus

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm / Friday 7am - 12pm

Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 DOE

Our client has a team of 22 highly skilled precision engineering staff and addition to investment in the latest CNC machining technology. CNC Machining prototypes & batch production on the latest CNC vertical/horizontal machining centres and CNC lathes is at the heart of their business.

Duties:
⦁ Program CNC machines using CAD software and or cimco to create precise and accurate parts on Lathe's with live tooling.
⦁ Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
⦁ Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
⦁ Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing

Qualifications:
⦁ Proficient in CAD software and cimco editor for programming CNC machines
⦁ Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations and measurements
⦁ Familiarity with Fanuc controls CNC machines
⦁ Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
