As the Financial Systems Accountability Officer, you will work closely with the ETA (Employment and Training Administration) Comptroller, Accounting Officer and Budget Officer, other ETA offices, ETA senior executive management, other Department of Labor offices, and other Federal departments performing the following duties:

As a Training Specialist at the GS-1712-11/12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Serves as a Training Specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of the DINFOS Mass Communication Foundations training program.
• Instructs entry and intermediate-level training in visual information and public affairs topics to include, photography, video production, multimedia production, writing, communication strategy, public affairs, and digital media.
• Responsible for researching, developing, adapting, revising, coordinating, and presenting lesson plans and other associated course materials covering various course tasks.
• Monitors and evaluates student performance to determine achievement of course requirements; Plans and conducts validity and reliability studies and surveys of assigned courses.
• Provides expertise of subject matter and training techniques to identify and prepare solutions to problems concerning such issues as training course content, instructional delivery and training materials.

• Plan and implement a comprehensive training and professional development program that promotes positive growth and development of children and youth IAW all applicable regulations and standards.

• Observes in appropriate program settings throughout all hours of operation to assess and evaluate staff competency and provide feedback.

Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of the Fitness and Sports prog1'am and facilities. Conducts, teaches and leads group exercises classes. Prepares choreographed routine for each class. Demonstrates a command of effective class format, leadership skills, and sensitivity to all levels of fitness. Ensures all equipment and supplies are accessible prior to classes beginning. Demonstrates knowledge in exercise physiology, kinesiology, injury prevention, cardiovascular and medical considerations, nutrition, and body composition. Assists Fitness Center Director, Fitness Program Specialist and Sports Specialist with programs and function providing support for activities. Enforces customer access and priority IAW established procedures and regulatory guidance. Establishes schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed. Types of duties include, but are not limited to the following: issues, receives, cleans and maintains equipment; safely demonstrates equipment and techniques of various fitness and sports activities; sets up areas for daily use, sports events, tournaments, and practice games when such assignments require a practical knowledge of the rules and procedures of such activities; inspects sports facilities and equipment for security and general conditions, performing cleaning duties as required to ensure safe operating conditions; and schedules areas for use, with responsibility for seeing that they are vacated or returned in good order; performs fitness assessments and evaluations. Provides customers with information on available classes and programs, answering questions, phone calls, providing orientation of facility layout and equipment location. In this position, you will serve as an Intelligence Research Specialist, applying a full range of expert intelligence knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide insights that warn of potential threats and assessments on possible outcomes in regard to national security.

This position starts at a salary of $88,562.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $136,909.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $136,909.00 (GS-13 Step 10).

Major duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as a senior level analyst in the Northeast Regional Intelligence Area of Responsibility.
• Developing or utilizing novel or revised program methods, strategies, producers and techniques for intelligence activities.
