• Serves as a subject matter expert, technical authority, and advisor on training enabler requirements determination and policy.
• Prepares Materiel Requirements Documents and/or provides expert technical advice and policy guidance to leaders, action officers and organizations within the Training Support Enterprise (TSE).

• As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following:
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to resolve issues within functional programs.
• Document planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet requirements.
• Verify the relevancy, adequacy, sustainability, attainability, accuracy, and completeness of information and recommendations related to assigned tasks.

• Serve as an instructor developing, preparing, and presenting formal instructional classes to world-wide locations relating to explosives safety, transportation of hazardous materials, packaging and ammunition logistics, and chemical surety.
• Conduct lectures, conferences, case studies, demonstrations, practical exercises, examinations, and critiques for assigned courses.
• Provide advice on explosives safety, material readiness, logistics, stockpile reliability, and chemical surety.

• Provides instruction for approximately 30 different courses in the Program of Instruction (POI) for students and newly assigned personnel.
• Prepares the Training Schedule and modifies the schedule due to unforeseen or short-notice changes to training facility (ies), lack of equipment, or mission requirements.
• The POI covers special operations communications techniques and equipment. The subject matter includes procedures, theory, technical information and equipment operation.
• Provides written evaluations and recommendations to the Supervisor. Operates civilian and military vehicles with an average GVW of 10,000 pounds to transport personnel and equipment.

• Manage property book records to include property acquired by purchase, lease, rental, transfer, manufacture, etc.
• Assist in maintaining the property book which is a record of all property authorized by the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Common Tables of Allowances such as CTA 50-909, and CTA 50-970.
• Serve as Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder. Make purchases from approved vendors and on the open market in accordance with applicable Department of the Army and organization policies and procedures.
• Ensure controls are effectively in place to prevent fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement. Monthly, reconcile bank statement and provides all documentation to billing official.
• Ensure procedures are followed in initiating procurement actions, funds are certified as available, and required approvals are obtained and documented.
• Initiate inventories of property at periodic intervals. Reconcile discrepancies by reviewing the property book posting with transaction documents for errors; initiate turn-in slips to adjust to adjust discrepancy.
• Initiate change of hand receipt holder and change of PBO inventories. Maintain property accounting records for non-expendable items in accordance with current regulations. Prepare issue, turn-in, and other transaction documents.
• Maintain transaction history and corresponding supporting voucher files and make necessary posting to the property accountability records. Maintain a variety of manual and automated files. Compile information and prepares a variety of reports.
• Provide technical support to Hand Receipt Holders (HRHs) and customers. Assure HRH and management officials are informed and trained in pertinent governing regulations, procedures and guidelines relative to hand receipt responsibility.
• Schedule and coordinate annual wall-to-wall inventory for all property book items with the hand receipt holders. Initiate and assist hand receipt holders in completing reports of survey in the event of lost or damaged non-expendable items.
• Conduct fleet management functions. Monitor assigned government vehicles. Ensure vehicles are properly dispatched and maintenance services are performed.

• Assists in the revision of training materials by performing instructional design, development, validation and evaluation based on criteria using the Systems Approach to Training Training (SAT) process.
• Participates in task analysis for determining training requirements.
• Verifies that lesson plans, training materials, and equipment required for training are present, current and operational to teach assigned units of instruction.
• Analyzes and recommends solutions to training and training resource problems.

• Serve as the alter ego to the District Superintendent, fully sharing the duties, responsibilities and operations of the assigned District Office or District Field Office.
• Monitor operating budget, staffing allocations, and financial plans as needed to ensure that approved educational services are provided.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned district or field office staff.
• Provide leadership and support to core curriculum programs as well as special education, continuous school improvement/Accreditation, and professional development.
• Provide policy guidance and professional leadership to encourage achievement of the highest possible level of educational excellence.

Plans and implements an individualized instructional program based on assessment data, knowledge of teaching strategies, learning styles, and availability of resources.

Must select appropriate individualized teaching techniques which may include individual guidance, peer tutoring, cooperative learning, media instruction, computerized instruction, large and small group instruction or behavior modification, etc.

Selects, orders and uses a wide diversity of instructional materials based on student needs and abilities including self-study, programmed materials, and media, etc.

Designs and develops curricula to meet the diverse learning needs of an incarcerated adult population.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19. Performs hazard and risk assessments and conduct a complete incident analysis.

2. Drives and operated firefighting vehicles, such as pumpers, aerial ladder trucks, and Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles.

3. Performs crash-rescue, and firefighting duties involving air traffic or support operations where hazardous conditions are such that the expectancy for the fire is high and potential for becoming destructive is great.

4. Performs structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities, which may include large multistoried buildings, industrial areas, and/or base storage facilities.

5. Performs rescue of personnel and a variety of first aid measures to alleviate further injury and prepare the victims(s) for transport to a medical facility.

6. Maintains firefighting equipment and fire station facilities. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
