- Independently performs a wide range of warehousing duties, to include receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, pickup, and delivery of general, oversized, or specialized bulk materials and equipment.
- Oversees process on Supply and Transportation Discrepancy Reporting; determines whether material was properly packed for shipment to conform to specifications and regulations of Department of Transportation and carrier requirements.
- Operates electric, gasoline, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks capable of lifting loads.
- Secures hazardous, and non-hazardous cargo prior to shipment.
- Drives one or more types of trucks such as pickup, panel, and flatbed trucks, which typically have a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds or less, on public roads at highway speeds. Utilizes safety practices and procedures, complies with established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe,
clean, and secure work environment.
