Set at the top of Perthās North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John's RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus.
Our 2-18 all-through school provides education for over eleven hundred children and young people from nursery to S6. The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state of the art sports and cultural facilities, offering a wide range of services for all ages.
St Johnās RC Academy is looking to recruit a Depute Head Teacher within the secondary department of our all-through school. The successful candidate will work as part of Senior Leadership Team with the aim to deliver universal and targeted support for our young people and their families, enabling them to excel within school, achieve their best and transition to positive destinations.
St Johnās RC Academyās success is built on respectful relationships, strong partnership working, a culture of self-evaluation for improvement and effective leadership at all levels. The Individual
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Depute Head Teacher who can work collaboratively within a large team and be an inspiring leader for others. You should have experience of planning, delivering, engaging and stimulating learning experiences which meet the needs of all learners.
The successful candidate will be an excellent leader, with a track record of forming and developing excellent relationships and collaborative working practices with pupils, parents, and staff. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of positively engaging learners, families, colleagues, and partners.
The successful candidate will be data literate and be able to gather and analyse complex data and communicate how this can make improvements across the school.
You will be committed to living out and promoting our school values of fairness, achievement, respect and love through being an outstanding role model for others.
