This Training Manager position is located at Will Rogers World International (OKC), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Planning and ensuring development and implementation of training schedules to meet TSA training and certification goals; developing the airport's annual training plan.
• Ensuring all required Transportation Security Officer (TSO) training is coordinated, conducted, and accomplished at hub and/or spoke airports under your assigned jurisdiction.
• Briefing the FSD and other management staff regarding the training status of the workforce.
• Coordinating the training of Security Training Instructors (STI) and Assistant Training Instructors (ATI) to ensure the staff is fully capable and prepared to instruct.
• Coordinating the scheduling of STI/ATI and Training Technicians (TT) with the Assistant Federal Security Director of Screening and the
• Scheduling Operations Officer to ensure the full scope of work requirements are met.
• Disseminating updates and management decisions that impact training.
• Ensuring training compliance as required by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA), TSA Management Directives and local procedures.
• Evaluating training programs to determine staff, equipment and other critical resource needs; working with appropriate organizational entities to acquire such resources.
• Facilitating and coordinating all training for the airport including providing support for FSD staff training and partnering with special programs training instructors (e.g., Behavioral Detection Officer (BDO), Bomb Appraisal Officer (BAO)) to ensure the development and delivery of a comprehensive and cohesive training program.

• Assists in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the club complex, ensuring the activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Analyzes, appraises, and provides input to the financial aspects of the operation on a day-to-day basis to ensure that financial standards and goals are met.
• Represents the club complex with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

• Develop and direct the major subordinate command plans, training, exercises, and readiness program.
• Serve as a key member of the FCoE Crisis Management Team assisting with preparation of initial assessments and development of Courses of Action for FCoE decision.
• Responsible for the preparation of traditional Military Plans (e.g. OPORDs, OPLANs, FRAGOS, TASKORDS, MOIs) as well as critical specific plans such as Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
• Lead staff officer for all tasks related to preparing, editing, and staffing USAFCoEFS situation reports (SITREP) to higher headquarters.
• Monitor execution of plans and provide status reports to FCoE Command Group and higher headquarters.
• Coordinate Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drills, in process assessments/reports, and conducts After Action Reviews (AAR) to collect lessons learned for incorporation into improved plans.

• Plans organizes and directs the activities for the training wing safety office ensuring that the safety program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
• Serves as a principal safety and occupational health manager. This includes Occupational Safety SNCO.
• Represent Safety branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Implements plans, policies and procedures ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards.
  
• Prepares supplements to regulations and manuals and develop specialized local regularizations defining mishap prevention, handling, and storage procedures based on interpretation and or adaptation of higher command instructions and policies formulated by other federal government agencies.

- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. On a regular and recurring basis, utilizes trades and/or labor knowledge and skill to lead a team of three or more workers in performance of various related work. Performs work. Performs non-supervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led.

- Performs GMV Training and Certification within the Training, Validation Office (TVO) and leads other military and civilians performing training. Trains newly assigned military vehicle operators on a wide range of vehicles to include buses, tractor trailer, forklifts, wrecker/recovery vehicles, passenger vans/buses ranging from 12 passengers to 55 passengers.

- Administers Installation GMV Licensing Function and Installation Vehicle Misuse Program. Performs Operator Records and Licensing functions within the TVO office issuing and updating GMV licenses for personnel across JBSA.

- Drives buses, tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds to include wrecker/recovery vehicles, and one or more electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties. May be required to transport bulky and unwieldy items.

- Maintains records and documents actions. Properly completes operator/customer inspections checklists, forms and accident/incident reports as required.

• Develops and assesses USSOCOM requirements/capabilities and assists in the acquisition guidance necessary to develop, process, field, and sustain all special operations training systems.
• Serves as a USSOCOM lead for the Doctrine, Operations, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, Policy (DOTmLPF-P) review and endorsement process supporting the SOF Enterprise.
• Represents USSOCOM as a decision-making member within working groups, integrated product teams, and committees where joint identification, validation, and prioritization of SOF-peculiar requirements and training systems are determined.
• Provides requirements management and acquisition guidance when performance characteristics, training requirements, scheduling, and cost baselines may not be met.
• Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that Classified National Information Protection security disciplines are fully
  covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet
  mission requirements.

• Assists immediate supervisors in the identification, development and execution of task specific training for proficiency criteria required for Production Acceptance Certification (PAC).
• Monitors, schedules, and enters employee training through Training Support System (TSS), and tracks employee task certifications in PAC to inform supervisor of manpower capability.
• Incumbent performs duties of aircraft sheetmetal mechanic.
• Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
