As part of our mission to provide exceptional care and support, we are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Special Needs Assistants.
Position Overview:
As a Special Needs Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs within our daycare setting. You will work closely with our experienced educators and therapists to ensure that each child receives personalized care, assistance, and encouragement to reach their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families while gaining valuable experience in the field of early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support and assistance to children with special needs, including but not limited to developmental delays, autism
spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and physical disabilities.
* Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals under the guidance of qualified professionals.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and included.
* Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and continuity of care for each child.
* Monitor and document children's progress, behaviors, and achievements, and communicate effectively with the team and families.
Qualifications:
* No prior experience is required; we are seeking passionate individuals with a genuine interest in working with children with special needs.
* Must have a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness to undergo training and obtain relevant qualifications in special needs support (training will be provided).
