Responsibilities to become a successful SEN Teacher will be:

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational support role (required).
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour support plans.
- Understanding of special educational needs and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and how to adapt it for SEN students.
- Knowledge of relevant SEND legislation and safeguarding policies.
- Genuine interest in supporting the educational development of children with special needs.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Ability to assist students with physical activities and personal care needs.
- Physical stamina to be active throughout the school day.
