About the role: Learning DesignerActivate Learning are looking for a Learning Designer who is both creative and technically adept to develop and support the ongoing learning technology systems of the Group to enhance our teaching, learning and assessment.As the Learning Designer, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with colleagues to interpret instructional design planning and build impactful and engaging learning sequences directly onto our virtual learning environment (VLE). This will mean that you may work with Digital Content Developers and Learning Technologists to design online learning assets. You would also support the delivery and maintenance of e-learning programmes that already exist on our Virtual Learning Environments. You will provide a leading role in the development of information technology and its applications to teaching and professional development, creating and editing online learning content as required.You will ensure quality and standards of service provide business continuity in meeting the needs of the Group and support the day-to-day operations of the college learning environments (Libraries), providing support to staff and students as required to ensure a high level of customer service at all times.This will be for a fixed-term of 5 months, and can be based from any campus dependant on location.
