The Learning Support Assistant will work in conjunction with our SENCo to support students in the classroom and in small groups to facilitate student’s learning to improve their outcomes. LEARNING SUPERVISOR
Term Time only plus 5 Inset Days
TA4, SCP19 to SCP22 FTE £29,777 – £31,365
(£15.43 to £16.26 hourly rate)
Actual starting salary £23,270 to £24,511 pa
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Supervisor to undertake cover for staff absence and ensure that a high standard of provision is maintained. Supervisors are not expected to prepare lessons, but good communication skills and confidence with young people are essential when delivering content prepared by the regular teacher. As Learning Supervisor, you will work in a team and will be supported by a member of SLT.
Nunnery Wood is an over-subscribed 11-16 High School situated on the South Eastern outskirts of Worcester. Personal development of students was described by Ofsted as outstanding and behaviour both in and out of lessons is extremely good.
Hours of working are 8.00am – 3.05pm Mon-Fri (30mins lunch), term time only, plus Inset.

We are seeking to expand our team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), some of whom also offer personal care, to support our students. All of our students have a severe vision impairment and our aim is for them to become independent learners and to lead independent lives. Our Learning Support Assistants and Personal Care Assistants play an important part in achieving this aim. These roles are full time at 37 hours per week, or part time hours can be negotiated and discussed at interview.
