This role is an exciting opportunity to provide support and development to a cohort of Trainee High Intensity Therapists (HITs). Oversee and manage a team of Trainee HITs Provide a comprehensive induction and training programme for the Trainee HITs at the start of their training year Support the Trainee HITs to build up a caseload of patients for the delivery of evidence-based therapy to the population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Hold regular line management meetings with the HITs for support and monitoring of their performance against agreed targets Carry out audits of the Trainee HITs clinical notes to ensure adherence to quality standards Be the main point of contact for Cohort-wide communications from the University Develop and coordinate implementation of policies for information governance and consent relating to university submissions in consultation with the University. Attend University course review meetings Support the Trainee HITs to complete the course requirements and begin the transition to Qualified HITs Liaise with other members of staff in the service with regard to the Trainee HITs, e.g. Clinical Leads, Supervisors, Service LeadSkills and Experience: Essential: Educated to degree level or above English and Maths GCSEs/O Levels Experience of risk-management At least 2 years experience in a management role Ability to manage staff performance in a firm but compassionate manner Experience of working in a target orientated sector Working with diverse user group IT literate intermediate level minimum Outcome measures and their use for clinical and audit purposes Familiar with the NHS Talking Therapies Manual, 2023 An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when requiredDesirable: NHS Talking Therapies HI Intensity Qualification, e.g. CBT, CfD, DIT, IPT BABCP/UKCP/BACP Accreditation Management qualification e.g. CMI Use of IAPTUS system Recruitment Undertaking Clinical Audit, including action planning Knowledge of the HI training, including content and examinations Networking and engaging with external stakeholders Evidence based CBT interventionsWhy Vita Health Group?
