Our client is a successful charity, they have a temporary requirement for an experienced support worker who has worked with young people 16 + who have complex needs.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Sunday on a rota basis, covering early (8AM - 3.30PM), mid (12.30PM - 8PM) and late (3PM - 10.30PM) shifts. There is a requirement to work 2 weekends out of 4. Temporary cover is required for approximately 2 - 3 months.

In this position, you will be required to:

• Hold a caseload of 2 - 4 young people and undertake regular key working sessions resulting in co-produced support and safety plans that are SMART and evidence progress
• Assess the needs of young people in order to identify appropriate move on accommodation
• Produce comprehensive and high quality risk assessments and risk management plans
• Assess referrals to the project to ensure suitable young people can be accepted
• Provide a safe, welcoming and high-quality standard of accommodation, ensuring when young people move in they feel comfortable and welcomed and are given information concerning the building and other local services
• Minimise risk to young people by identifying, reporting and following up any safeguarding concerns and incidents
• Work with social workers to enable young people to move back home if appropriate, or to support young people to identify opportunities for move on to appropriate supported, shared or self-contained accommodation

Job Role:

Join our team as a Quay Port Operative and play a vital role in the UK's supply chain, facilitating the efficient movement of cargo from discharge to distribution. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Stevedore Duties: Supporting the loading and unloading of cargo within the vessel
• Equipment Operation: Operating various machinery, including Forklift Trucks (FLT), Tugs, and Reelers
• Documentation: Completing necessary paperwork to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness in work areas and equipment
• Traffic Management: Acting as a Traffic Marshall and Vehicle Banksman, ensuring safe vehicle movement

Position Overview:

McGinley Supports Services is looking for experienced Reeler Forklift Truck Drivers / FLT Operatives to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the safe and efficient movement of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Forklift to transport cargo
• Operating FLT with reeler attachment
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently
• Stacking and organizing pallets and other items within the shed
• Conducting pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition

Qualifications:

• Recent experience driving a Forklift Truck (Reach or Counterbalance) is essential - NPORS, ITSAR or RTITB certificate
• COSHH
• Manual Handling
