As a Continuing Healthcare Independent Review the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Continuing Healthcare Teamto deliver NHS England’s statutory function to facilitate Independent Reviews of CHC eligibility.

In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required. Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.

· Provide specialist secretarial/administration support and advice to the teams and/or Sector to support a number of initiatives by:



· Taking telephone calls from members of the public or their representatives either in relation to your own case load or matters for the wider CHC team. To use their initiative when dealing with phone calls and messages.



· Undertaking all administrative duties such as photocopying and prioritising mail and e-mail. Distributing as appropriate.



· Sorting and prioritising all incoming mail and e-mail, distributing as appropriate.



· Coordinate the caseloads to the Independent Chairs, taking account of availability and case complexity and clarify the appropriate type of panel members required



· Monitor that the IRP report is acted upon by the appropriate ICB Accountable Officer and CHC Lead within the appropriate timescale – escalating to the CHC IRP Manager where necessary



· Ensure all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.



· Organising and planning events as directed, providing all necessary supporting in local materials.



· Required to input, monitor and check data produced and required for on-going programmes and projects.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake domiciliary care risk and manual handling assessments on new clients/service users prior to the provision of a domiciliary care service
• To maintain an effective system in consultation with the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager for quality assurance management based on the outcomes for service users, in which standards and indicators to be achieved are clearly defined and monitored on a continuous basis.
• To meet domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for the purposes of direct supervision at least quarterly and keep written records on the content and outcome of each meeting.
• To assist the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager with the delivery of a care assistants' development and training programme to ensure members are able to fulfil and meet the changing needs of clients and service users.
• To participate in an on-call roster providing and co-coordinating cover for unplanned absence to maintain the service.

Skills and qualifications we're looking for:

• Experience of supervising others within a Health Care setting
• Articulate with the ability to put across ideas succinctly and clearly
• Holding a valid UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable, however other travel arrangements are possible and will be taken into consideration
• Excellent assessment skills
• Office based role with a requirement to visit clients in their own homes so experience of working on own initiative - self-starter, able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Learning Support Assistant at our Bromley campus. Working collaboratively with teachers and other support specialists, you will strengthen the day to day support and learning experience in and out of the classroom environment for all students receiving ALS within your designated curriculum area.
It is essential that you are passionate about improving learner experience and working closely with young people, their families and external support. POST: Receptionist / Administrator RESPONSIBLE TO: The Branch Supervisor JOB SUMMARY You will provide general assistance to the practice team, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients, staff and visitors to the practice, either in person or via the telephone. You will assist in the smooth running of the reception area providing a high-quality level of service to patients, practice staff and other visiting staff within a safe, efficient working environment by providing effective support to clinicians and staff. Your role requires you to have a thorough knowledge of the practice procedures / protocols and to work in accordance with these. Your work will be undertaken within all branches; Sedgefield, Fishburn and Trimdon Colliery. The role is varied, fast paced but rewarding. Working in collaboration as part of a supportive team you will be confident in managing and prioritising your own workload. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Opening / closing practice premises and maintaining security in accordance with practice protocols. Preparing and organising rooms, ensuring an adequate supply of stationery is at hand for clinicians. You will own through to resolution all incidents and queries that come through to you, making sure the customer is fully updated at each step of the process. Working smartly, you will utilise all departments available to you in order to mitigate any potential or future business impact on the customer.
Key Accountabilities
1. Provide effective first level support for all business related issues and Second line support to customers logging "How do I…?" calls relating to certain standard applications
2. On behalf of customers, own and manage incidents and issues through to completion
3. Accurately log, assign and update call records with all of the relevant information and track through to closure.
4. Adhere to processes relevant to each issue to meet the business need and to minimise business impact.
5. Notify, through escalation, all protracted issues or process failures to the line manager.
6. Responsible for raising user awareness of basic software skills and best practice methods in the use of standard Network Rail software and hardware tools, to improve overall productivity and reduce the number of issues raised.
