You will be looking after a busy and professional department where your remit will be to manage all aspects of the department: From day to day running of the Workshop, managing the Technicians / Mechanics to achieve maximum productivity, making sure that the Service Advisors are very customer focused and achieved upselling targets to budget and KPI monitoring.

You will also be working closely with the senior management to ensure that key objectives and strategies are met, we are looking for someone who is constantly looking to improve the department and to exceed targets.

The Transformation Lead is responsible for leading and delivering the council's transformation agenda, a programme of organisational transformation to deliver the council's agreed future operating model and medium-term financial savings.

• Stevedore Duties: Supporting the loading and unloading of heavy cargo in the vessel hold and on the quayside (trucks, HGVs, etc.).
• Lashing and De-lashing: Ensuring secure handling of H&H cargo.
• Equipment Operation: Operating various machinery, including Forklift Trucks (FLT), Tugs, and Reelers.
• Documentation: Completing necessary paperwork to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness in work areas and equipment.
• Traffic Management: Acting as a Traffic Marshall and Vehicle Banksman to ensure safe vehicle movement.

Position Overview:

McGinley Supports Services is looking for experienced Reeler Forklift Truck Drivers / FLT Operatives to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the safe and efficient movement of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Forklift to transport cargo
• Operating FLT with reeler attachment
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently
• Stacking and organizing pallets and other items within the shed
• Conducting pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition

Qualifications:

• Recent experience driving a Forklift Truck (Reach or Counterbalance) is essential - NPORS, ITSAR or RTITB certificate
