Project Manager (Bridges)
Contract Length: Long Term Contract
Location: Glasgow - On Site construction min 3 days per week
Minimum Requirement: The individual needs to a Chartered civil or structural engineer, Have Experience in Bridges & Financial management.
Security Clearance: BPSS (Basic Disclosure)
We are local for an experienced Bridges Special Projects Manager in the Glasgow area of Scotland.
Job Details
The M8 Woodside Manager will manage the day to
day delivery of the M8 Woodside Project on behalf of Transport Scotland.
The current stage of the M8 Woodside project involves delivering the Temporary Propping, with an overall value of around £140m.
This stage of the project is expected to complete in early 2026 and involves the following specific work elements. Enabling works, propping progress, co-ordination & delivery.
General Duties;
- Generic & bespoke propping design & delivery
- Technical support for repair & strengthening design & delivery to Major Projects.
- Stakeholder liaison management, e.g. GCC, SPT, Local businesses, Police, etc
- Gateway & Peer Review support
- Post required to ensure live project design development and delivery for duration of the project.
- Removing restrictions from M8 and surrounding surface streets as safely, quickly and cost-effectively as
possible.
