The Senior Management Support Officer, serves as confidential assistant to the DPE Vice President (VP) and Deputy Vice President(s) (DVPs) performing a variety of confidential and special assignments, which may require considerable research and contact work to include:

• Provides substantial administrative support to the VP and DVPs, including serving as back-up timekeeper, answering the phone, filing and task management. Drafts correspondence, proofreads and prepares research reports and analyses, memoranda, charts and other material; receives and helps coordinate responses to requests for information and materials concerning DPE initiatives; prepares correspondence and memos for the VP's and DVP's signatures.

The SLC serves as an advisor, program manager and technical expert to the Associate on a broad array of activities designed to fulfill the Associate's role in providing support to the Office of Chief Counsel (Office) regarding rulemaking and the interaction of the Internal Revenue Code with other provisions of law affecting agency rulemaking under the Administrative Procedure Act; to provide comprehensive legal and programmatic advise to field of functions in both advisory and litigation settings; and to provide legal support to the Internal Revenue Service. The day shift shift is: 08:00 - 20:00

Your Responsibilities...


Working with Residents’ and families to deliver high level person-centered care.
Being a key worker/Manager to the Care staff on shift, whilst providing the highest standard of hands-on care
Liaising with other health professionals and relatives to achieve the best outcome for each Resident.
Maintaining a safe environment for staff, Residents, and visitors according to Health and Safety and CQC requirements whilst always maintaining thorough and up to date records on each Resident.

We are looking for a confident Senior Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week (Days, Nights and Weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Bierley.

Cygnet Hospital Bierley provides a range of acute and low secure mental health services for men and women.

The hospital is set across four wards offering single-sex male and female specialist mental health services. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery orientated approach and are reviewed through the CPA framework.
