An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior housing with care worker within one of our housing with care buildings

The Housing with care Service provides support to vulnerable service users within their own homes, experience of working with vulnerable service users in a care setting is required. As a Senior housing with care worker, you will be required to carry out personal care tasks on a 'one-to-one' basis with people who have a wide range of caring needs in their own homes, workplace observations of your team ensuring a high-quality service is being provided, which meets the National Care Standards.

Previous experience of working in a care setting is essential for this position. We are looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality and someone who is reliable and can be relied upon to support the service user in their home. We are looking for someone that will always work in the best interests of the service user.

You must be confident in using Microsoft office applications and have an eye for attention to detail.

Hours for this role are 37 per week on a rotational shift pattern, involving working every second weekend. This post may include working an early and back shift pattern.

All posts involve lone working.

You must hold the relevant qualification or be willing to work towards the SVQ Award that is linked to the post of senior housing with care worker.

Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to the PVG scheme and requires SSSC Registration.

As an online Customer Services/Sales Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent communication with customers to convert enquiries to sales, manage sales via email, live chat and telephone, respond to customer enquiries using your knowledge of the products (training will be provided), process payments, confirm orders, provide after sales care, and coordinate sales in line with other internal departments. It will be crucial to provide excellent customer service throughout all aspects of the role. This is an in-office role.

We are looking to employ a permanent Night Senior Social Care Worker who can provide effective line management to our Night Social Care workforce and, as part of the management team, support services to develop our delivery of the highest quality care to our residents.

Within our organisation, there are multiple learning opportunities for staff. We place importance on training, development, and opportunities to progress within a supportive environment.

You must have experience of providing professional care and support to older people particularly those who have a mental health diagnosis. The candidate must have good organisational skills, ideally experience at leading teams, communicate effectively with other professionals, families and residents, an ability to work on your own initiative and have proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities. The candidate will be experienced in the supervision and support of a large team of professional support staff and be able to manage the service in the absence of the manager. This post requires an individual who can actively participate as an integral part of the Resource Centre’s management team in the development and delivery of the highest possible quality of care.

Moving and Handling training together with an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential for the post; CSS, DipSW or equivalent is desirable. You will be required to also complete Supervisory units of SVQ 4. The candidate must be able to register with the SSSC as a Supervisor in Care Home Services for older adults and hold or obtain the relevant qualification within the regulatory time scale. The candidate will also need to obtain and maintain a PVG scheme membership.

You will work 33.25 hours per week which will include nights and weekends on a shift rota basis.
