An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new, enthusiastic, full time member of staff to join the team in the Dermatology Outpatients Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. These services are provided over 7 days.

The post holder will be working under the supervision of trained staff, and will undertake specific tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent. They will be expected to support Dermatology Outpatient clinics, including chaperoning, assisting in theatre, administration and clerical duties, and supporting the smooth running of the daily clinics. Medical Staff Accountability

Work with colleagues to ensure junior doctors’ hours are compliant with EWTD, New Deal & 2016 Junior Doctors Contract. Adhere to Trust / department guidelines on leave, including requesting and reporting absence, and study leave. Participate fully in regular departmental activities including department meetings and team building activities.

All duties must be carried out under supervision or within Trust policy and procedure. You must never undertake any duties that are outside your area of skill or knowledge level. If you are unsure you must seek clarification from a more senior member of staff.

Leadership and Team Working

Participate in any necessary management and leadership development courses as required by the Trust. Work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. Appraisal

The post holder is required to participate in the annual appraisal system in line with the Trust’s appraisal guidelines.
