An opportunity has arisen for a surveyor to join the Estates Team within Property Services.
You will undertake a wide range of professional duties, assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive Estates Service, including Estate Management, valuation and Landlord and tenant. The successful candidate will in addition provide a valuation service for asset, acquisition, disposal, rent review and rating purposes. The position of surveyor requires someone who is committed, self-motivated, has a positive, professional, and responsible attitude, with the ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team working to tight timescales. You should demonstrate a commitment to the principals of customer care, while displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You should hold appropriate degree level qualification and have, or be working towards, professional membership of the RICS with a proven track record in a professional surveying environment as well as the ability to demonstrate a knowledge of the property market and relevant current legislation.
Being a Registered Valuer or willingness to achieve such status would be advantageous
