Your new role

• Assist the senior commercial staff in all aspects of quantity surveying, whilst ensuring that all relevant company group & sector specific procedures and policies are met, in accordance with the integrated business management system.
• Valuations- maximise income / profitability on any given project, ensure applications for payment (Contract Valuations) are submitted promptly and accurately together with the forecast final account sum, evaluation of additional works, compilation of contract final accounts.
• Sub-contractors - compile robust enquiries, analyse quotations / tenders. Attend pre-let meetings with sub-contractors, draft orders (terms and conditions) Inform the site team of sub-contract attendances. Management of sub-contract accounts through to completion
• Forecast - Assist the project manager / site agent with cost control and forecast of site expenditure to completion. Check site costs and highlight errors / anomalies, sub-contract liabilities and forecast final accounts.
• Maintaining the commercial files for each project, carrying out reconciliations of plant, labour, and materials, assisting with the submission of site weekly returns

What you'll need to succeed

• Holds the relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree in Quantity Surveying) or currently studying towards.

About the Role

Reporting into the Estates Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality cleaning and grounds/gardening services to our scheme in West London, on a permanent basis. This will include cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas well maintained such as refuse removal and basic gardening skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality cleaning, grounds and garden service, ensuring compliance with agreed standards, specifications and timescales.

• Record customer feedback and suggestions, acting on minor changes and collating information to support decisions on service improvement.
