We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a proactive approach to work who are committed to providing a front line service to our tenants and who enjoy working as part of a team to respond to community clean-ups and recycling initiatives.
Within our towers, you will provide assistance to residents, undertake cleaning duties of the premises and surrounding areas. You should have a flexible approach to dealing with a client group who may have mental health and substance abuse issues.
Within Locality Management you will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the estate, which includes security, cleaning communal areas and keeping the area litter free. You will also work as part of a team to respond to community clean-ups and recycling initiatives.
Caretaking, cleaning or security experience is essential for all Estate Officers and you should have experience of working with the public. Knowledge of CCTV systems, cleaning machines and cleaning agents is desirable but full training will be provided. You will be required to work outdoors, have the ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting and assist tenants and public at all times.
A driving licence is desirable to assist with estate management duties.
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.
Work Pattern: 37 Hours (2 posts)
Post 1 – Towers
Post 2 - Locality Management
Estate Officer (Towers) will work a 4 days on/4 days off day shift pattern from 7am – 6pm.
Estate Officer (Locality Management) will work Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.15 pm and Friday 8am – 2.30.
There may be a requirement to cover various areas across North Lanarkshire Council.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
