We’re recruiting for Senior Property Claims Handlers to join our growing team, based in our newly refurbished Bolton office. If you have a natural ability to relate to people and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, then you could be the perfect addition to our team.
Our Property Claims team is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property. As part of the wider Claims function including Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor, you'll contribute to the strategic objectives of AXA Commercial whilst helping our customers protect what matters most to them. Every claim is different and that’s what gives the job so much variety!

What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training. Due to the nature of the role, some claims are because of a distressing or simply unfortunate incident, so listening and acting with empathy is key.
Staying composed and level-headed when faced with challenges to effectively assist and support customers during their most critical moments of need.
Taking proactive measures and utilising available resources to ensure the best possible outcome for each customer, addressing their specific needs related to their incident or claim. This includes investigating and gathering evidence to help bring each claim to the point of conclusion.
Respond promptly to calls, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, precise and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer.
Recognising the signs of a fraudulent claim and referring these for further investigation where needed.

Working Hours and Shift Pattern: Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, a total of 35 hours per week, with no weekend work required!
Training:
You’ll have a structured onsite training programme with one of our specialist Trainers. Following training and once you’re more competent in the role, you’ll move to a hybrid way of working; working at least 40% of your week away from home at our Bolton office.

The Senior Underwriter plays a critical role in managing the profitability and income of the branch, owning the financial results for designated accounts and brokers. The role demands a high level of influence on the Underwriting team, increasing the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders and developing the technical and trading capability of the branch.
The role encompasses many opportunities to contribute to the development and success of the team, not just from a growth and profitability perspective but driving service excellence to our customers. Ensuring close collaboration is supported internally across the teams will be an important focus area, as this will enable the team to be set up for success, by engaging and building key relationships with the brokers and stakeholders in the Non-National brokers in the Mid-Market space.

What you’ll be doing:

Deliver planned underwriting results through proactive account review, analysis of underwriting trends and implementing improvement.
Underwrite new business profitably, accurately, consisently and in line with established underwriting practices and governance framework.
Use information gathering, a strong knowledge of policy wordings and industry trends to select, understand and assess risks.
Make sound assessments of the probability of exposure to determine a suitable premium from an accurately established technical price.
Develop credibility with brokers and customers and understand all aspects of importance to both the broker and customer, designing a solution which meets those needs.
Build influential relationships externally and internally, take ownership and respond to broker demands in a timely manner and keep them informed about relevant ongoing activity.
Coach, train and develop Underwriters to continually improve their technical and trading capability.
Support the Trading Team Manager to effectively manage the service provided to brokers.
Build a reputation as a trading expert with a panel of intermediaries and build confidence in the branch ability through interaction with our Underwriting Technical Centre.

It is an exciting time to join the Work Force Planning team here at AXA. We’re recruiting for a Real Time Analyst to join AXA Commercial, supporting teams across the UK on a 12 month FTC. As a Real Time Analyst, you’ll work closely with the rest of the Planning Team and Operational areas across Commercial to provide service delivery and support. This will include reporting and reviewing channel performance and productivity, overseeing real-time management and supporting with contact channel changes, whilst acting as a centralised point of contact for all Real Time and Channel related enquiries.
In this role you'll be responsible for assisting with the distribution of resource to ensure all workloads are handled within their target time according to the relevant business area. The working hours are Monday to Friday covering the operational business hours of 8am - 6pm, 35 hours a week.
What you’ll be doing:

Managing requests for offline time, annual leave and absence.
Monitoring real time delivery of planned schedules through dashboard in Verint and Storm, ensuring adherence to schedules across all channels.
Accurate and up to date staff resource database maintained through WFM.
Attendance and input at Operational Planning meetings, to help lead and steer Operation to success.
Identifying operational improvements.
Production and delivery of daily / weekly reports including insight on performance.
Support the workforce planning and wider teams as and when appropriate.

What you’ll be doing:

Deliver on team targets through profitable underwriting of our products for PandC New Business, whilst developing key relationships and credibility with brokers and customers.
Be proactive, outgoing, and confident in dealing with our strategic partners, maximising business through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Underwrite our products for customers profitably, accurately, consistently using the full range of appetite and tools available.
Contribute to meetings with brokers to secure clients.
Monitor the overall performance of the book you’re responsible for and ensuring remedial action is taken to correct any performance issues.
