Key Responsibilities:

Stages of Design:
Stage 1: Feasibility Studies
-       Perform comprehensive site surveys.

-       Generate detailed site survey reports.

-       Finalize design briefs.

-       Compile feasibility study reports.

-       Ensure meticulous document filing in accordance with SOPs.
 
Stage 2: Schematic Design
-       Develop intricate layout plans.

-       Create detailed return briefs and room data sheets.

-       Provide clear instructions to the 3D team for visualization.

-       Craft engaging sample boards and mood boards.

-       Prepare precise technical cut sheets.

-       Collaborate seamlessly with the graphic design team to complete schematic design reports.

-       Uphold rigorous document filing standards in line with SOPs.

Stage 3: Contract Documentation / Tender
-       Prepare and consistently update the Contract Documentation Control Sheet (CDCS), outlining submission and production requirements.

-       Generate comprehensive drawings and cut sheets.

-       Craft compelling presentations and seek client approvals.

-       Maintain a meticulously updated log of approval statuses in CDCS, adhering to weekly updates.

-       Conduct routine weekly and monthly compliance self-audits as required.
 
Stage 4: Construction
-       Diligently monitor and promptly respond to all Requests for Information (RFI).

-       Maintain an up-to-date RFI log in CDCS.

-       Conduct regular site visits and thorough evaluations.

-       Provide valuable assistance in preparing accurate strike-off quantities documentation.

Stage 5: Project Closing
-       Conduct a thorough final site survey.

-       Produce precise as-built drawings.

-       Create Operation and Maintenance Manuals of the highest quality.

Qualifications:

- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience of 2 years as an Interior Designer.Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise on to create precise 2D or 3D Architectural Drawing, M&E Drawing, Building Plan etc. using AutoCAD.

WE EXPECTED YOU CAN DELIVER:

A Junior Designer is responsible for producing high-quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents.

A Junior Designer can contribute to all phases of development, including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. They modify and revise existing designs to meet client needs or enhance design quality. Additionally, they research and stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices to ensure our designs remain innovative and effective.

They report to the Design Project Manager or Senior Designer on tasks and deliverables and work directly with them to ensure the facilitation of a project’s completion—on time, on/under budget, and meeting the company’s quality standards.

Schematic Design

3D Artist Impression Drawings / Mood Boards / Design Planning

1.  Knows 3D Max & Vray standards and applies them.

3. Responsible for proposing and conceptualizing the interior architecture design work for retail, food & beverage, commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.

Design Development

CAD Documentation Requirements

1. Knows CAD standards and applies them.
2. Block up elevations from drawings with accuracy.
3. Thorough and accurate at redline pick-ups.
4. Clouds and notes revisions on drawing/spec modifications.
5. Able to draw and tag finished plans and elevations that meet the firm’s standards.
6. Able to produce basic sections and details of millwork and furniture.

FF&E Specification Requirements

1. Scan/Save images and format for specification.
2. Format actual specs on sheets.
3. Format a completed spec book including index sheets and contacts
4. Interpret what is needed for the ‘look’ and select appropriate FF&E items.
5. Draw simple custom furniture drawings and details.
6. Know how to produce drapery and bedding drawings, custom upholstered furniture, case goods, lighting, and custom furniture. Produce all drawings for fabrication in CAD.

Colors & Materials

1. Know how to produce color & materials boards.
2. Knows to source for products (uses, pricing, appropriateness)
3. Selects appropriate FF&E products for review that capture the look and attitude as well as durability and pricing.

About the Role

Job Scope:

1)Liaise & coordinate with architect and consultant for relevant submission and approval. 2)Prepare the trades' detailed construction schedule for the masterwork program. 3)Review various design drawings and identify discrepancies between M&E, civil and structural, architectural and interior design drawings.

4)Manage the sub-contractor's work progress, meetings, drawings, materials, samples method statements, shop drawsings submission and approval all by the construction plan, specification, procedure and required quality, time, and cost.

5)Work closely with the project manager to coordinate and supervise the project site for all works 6) Prepare the progress reports and general correspondence about the site works. 7)Ensure all site works comply with regulatory requirements.

8) Preparation and compilation for closing the project such as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, test reports and others.

9)Ensure that all works executed are by drawings, specifications. construction plans and procedures. 10) Execute inspections and utilize quality control mechanisms to check & monitor the project's quality to ensure achieving the quality requirements i.e: CLASSIC, CBI etc.

Responsibility/Requirement:

1)Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Construction/Architecture technical or equivalent.

2)Candidate experience in high-rise buildings and civil and infrastructure projects. 3)Good oral and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage
