"The major duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• The Project Specialist is responsible for assisting the Project Manager (PM) in initiating, establishing, guiding, and controlling one or more DSC design/construction projects from inception through completion.
• Incumbent uses knowledge of the NPS organization, Denver Service Center operations, financial, and scheduling processes as well as professional discipline skills to help guide project formulation, and development through to completion of projects that are within quality, budget, and schedule commitments.

- Manage the HR Operations Division's training program by designing, developing, and administering technical in-house training in all functional areas.
- Evaluate training needs and create training plans working with subject matter experts and the Management Team to meet the Division goals and cater to a diverse client base. Supports the planning and evaluation of the training program for effectiveness.
- Evaluate HR program area data from a variety of sources and systems to identify issues, spot trends, validate audit findings, and determine corrective actions needed to mitigate risk and potential for future issues.

• Program Administration, Planning and Coordination: Incumbent provides leadership and senior level expertise to Branch staff by creating, implementing and leading program and project plans, including setting and tracking of performance metrics, and evaluation. Will lead and work with teams to develop and update strategic plans and accomplish planning goals, including providing guidance, instruction, and motivation to teams. Description:
As the Electronics Engineer you will lead the Architecture and Innovation Branch and be directly responsible for developing the future Western Range (WR) Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) architecture and injecting innovations to effectively digitally transform the range into a future modernized spaceport that can meet our nation's increasing needs. The Architecture and Innovation Branch is a collaborative, fast-paced environment, that achieves rapid results.

This position is an expert within their functional area; heads of branches or divisions; or key program administrators. Conducts or directs activities or assists higher levels on challenging and innovative program development with only general guidance on policy, resources, and planning; develops solutions to highly complex problems requiring various disciplines; responsible for fulfilling program objectives. In this Interdisciplinary Architect/Civil Engineer position, you will serve as an Architect/Engineer within the FEMA Region 9 Mitigation Division, providing technical assistance for FEMA's hazard mitigation grant programs, with the goal of reducing risk to natural hazards.

Typical assignments include:

• Providing engineering or architectural advisory services to Mitigation staff as a subject matter expert, and collaborating with FEMA staff on identifying, developing, and/or reviewing Mitigation projects for sound mitigation techniques.
• Serving as a regional expert in Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) using FEMA-approved software or methodologies to support cost-effectiveness determinations for potential mitigation grant projects.
