Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Interior, FF&E Designer, industrial designer to join our team. This role involves collaborating on various projects, providing innovative design solutions, and ensuring the functional and aesthetic goals of our clients are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the design documentation of interior design projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timeline from conceptualisation to preparing detailed documentation for construction procurement.
- Create detailed drawings, models, and renderings to visualize design concepts.
- Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to develop design strategies that align with both the firm’s design language and the project objectives
- Source materials and furnishings that fit the design specifications and budget requirements.
- Prepare FF&E design specifications for procurement team to execute
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts and gather feedback.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new materials to enhance design quality and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 7 years of interior design experience
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Fundamental understanding of building coordination with sub-disciplines like MEP, C&S, etc
- Appreciation of craftsmanship, methods of fabrication and enthusiastic about bringing ideas to life
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
