Job Description:

As a Right to Buy Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Right to Buy applications and enquiries. Key Responsibilities:

Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement (Enforcement) is a key function within HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS). The centre prides itself on excellent customer service and is continually striving to improve using continuous improvement tools and techniques. Customers calling the contact centre are often in a difficult and stressful situation and therefore great importance is placed on handling calls with empathy and understanding. Key purpose of the role

Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement (Enforcement) is the part of HMCTS responsible in the main for the collection and enforcement of financial penalties imposed by the criminal courts and the subsequent disbursement of funds. Financial penalties include fines, costs, victim surcharge, and compensation to victims of crime. HMCTS takes the recovery and enforcement of financial impositions very seriously and remains committed to ensuring impositions are paid. The courts will do everything within their powers to trace those who do not pay and use a variety of means to ensure the recovery of criminal fines and financial penalties. Money can be deducted from an offender's earnings or benefits. Other 'upfront' compliance actions include increased use of telephone and text message chasing and use of tracing tools. Warrants can be issued instructing approved enforcement agents to seize and sell goods belonging to the offender. You will help deliver HMCTS' responsibilities for the enforcement of Fines, Community Penalty Breach Warrants, and other enforcement work.

Duties may include:

• Communicate and work with Enforcement Delivery Managers, Judiciary, Magistracy, Cluster Staff, and other internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers to collect information, check facts, communicate or enforce judicial decisions, give advice on the completion of forms or court procedures etc and provide excellent customer service.

• Collaborates and coordinates with directors to ensure consistency of program operations and continuity of issues across program units.
• Participates in development and maintenance of national foreign animal disease prevention, detection, and response system for establishing methods, strategies, logistics, controls, and resource needs.
• Directs the initiation, including conceptualization, needs assessment, and planning; funding; monitoring from a scientific perspective; and performance and evaluation of pilot programs and projects.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 830am to 6pm; Friday 830am to 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Creation of projects and budgets in the SAP for approved grants;
• Review fund requisitions (FRs) and final statement of accounts (FSOA) in accordance to the grant guidelines;
• Follow up on grantees FRs and FSOA for timely fund disbursements to grantees
• Follow up on FRs and FSOA to funding agencies for timely receipt of funds from funding agencies
• Follow up with grantees to ensure timely submission of grant audit reports by grantees in accordance with A*STAR grant audit framework (for A*STAR grants) / NRF's Enhanced
• Positive Affirmation Framework (for NRF grants)
• Preparation of monthly budget utilisation reports

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferably)
• Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• High learning agility and adaptability
• Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines
