Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until March 2025. There may be chance of an extension, but this will be down to business need. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be 9-5. The pay rate for this role is ÂŁ11.88 - paid on a weekly basis.
This role is fully office based due to the nature of the work. The role is located in B4 6DS.
In this role you will be supporting the court services with administrative tasks. Your day-to-day duties will include the following but won't be limited to:
- Preparing papers and files for court
- Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
- Post opening and dispatch
- Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions
- Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standard
- Inbox management
- Telephone queries
- Clerking civil and family courts, tribunals, and hearings - Face to face contact with customers
The successful candidate for the role will have 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace. Fantastic customer service experience is also required as clerking is included in this role. Full training will be provided.
