Outpatients Clinic Receptionist - Band 2

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outpatient clinic receptionist to join the team at Croydon University Hospital / Purley War Memorial Hospital.

The post holder’s duties will include making follow up appointments for various outpatients clinics, dealing with telephone and face to face queries and preparing documentation for clinics. The post holder will liaise with patients, GPs, consultants, cancer services and other departments in the hospital.

The post holder will contribute to ensuring that an efficient and effective outpatient services is delivered to meet the needs of the patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills; excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a busy, challenging environment and have a positive approach to work. In addition they will also need to possess excellent IT skills as a key part of the role is using the hospital computer system as well as emails. They will need to be reliable, self-motivated and great at multi-tasking. Experience of working in a similar post would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

The postholder will work within a team of clinic receptionists across main outpatients and Purley, undertaking a wide range of clearly defined administrative and reception duties to ensure efficient

As a Personal Trainer at our Leatherhead FWC, you're confident, outgoing and approachable. As a Wellbeing Personal Trainer, you will:

• Empower your clients to reach their health & fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

• Deliver our signature health MOT's sessions, inductions, engage sessions, programming sessions, gym floor activity and of course, your personal training sessions. This role is not your typical PT role.

• Have the option to deliver group fitness, both on the gym floor (in small groups) and in the studio.

What are we looking for in our PTs?

Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 Hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £39,108.16 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Description of role: Work with clients, customers, sub-contractors, suppliers and supervisors to schedule appointments and make promises that you know we can keep.

Day to Day:

• Answer incoming calls with regards to repairs issues
• Effective use of their in house system to actively schedule available Operatives and Sub-Contractors to jobs.
• Deal with complex repairs, demanding customers and those who have suffered service failure, to contain issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Handling calls and emails from the client to log issues, deploy Operatives and monitor completion of the work, providing updates at regular intervals.
• Ensure that the system is updated in a timely manner so that the client and the Operations are in receipt of the most up to date information.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Operatives, clients, customers (internal and external) and suppliers
• Understanding and diagnosing repair requests. Take ownership and responsibility for identifying the customer's needs and use appropriate questioning, listening and diagnosis skills to identify the issues and offer appropriate solutions.
• Managing incoming repairs inbox and allocating repairs works appropriately
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Operatives, clients, customers (internal and external) and suppliers
• Take a strategic view of demand (jobs being raised) and the supply of resources (Operative and Sub-Contractor skill mix) and make recommendations to the Partnership Manager and Supervisors about optimising the available resource mix.
• Adopt a continuous improvement mindset and proactively seek ways to improve the way you and Morgan Sindall operates and serves its customers.

Requirements:

• Social Housing and repairs experience
• To be a successful candidate, you will be a strong communicator with a great telephone manner and a genuine desire to help people on a daily basis.
• You will have good attention to detail and preferably have prior experience of working in a customer service environment, whether this is in a contact centre or face to face.
• The main thing is that you have a positive can-do attitude and are a great team player. Experience in social housing is essential.
