Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, seeking the approval and ensuring that the invoices are coded to the correct nominal code and cost centre. You will maintain and review the payment requests spreadsheet accurately, identifying and resolving invoice queries. Alongside this, you will monitor any outstanding parked / unallocated / open invoices on SAP and produce vendor statement reconciliations & resolve statement queries. As part of your role, you will liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues and assist on payment runs and help out with your colleagues' day-to-day work. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, based onsite

What you'll need to succeed
You will have recent purchase ledger experience and be confident in maintaining daily invoice processing routines without much supervision. With strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise your work, you offer a friendly and team-orientated manner with a positive approach. It would also be desirable to have experience with SAP.

A reputable and fast-growing business, based in Accrington are looking to recruit an Finance Administrator to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis, based from their head office. This organisation has quadrupled their turnover of the last 7 years and now reporting £150m. Working pattern is Monday - Friday fully flexible hours with a 30 minute lunch break.

Your new role

In your new role as Finance Administrator, you will be working amongst the Invoicing Team to support the business in raising invoices and carrying out related tasks. Whilst supporting the accounts function in the processing of invoices, approx 900+ per month and work closely with operational and finance teams providing support. Updating of client information through CRM, telephone & email communication, and assisting the Credit Control team to efficiently resolve outstanding queries, whilst assisting with reports for Management, as and when required. You will be expected to undertake any administrative tasks/projects as required to aid the function of the team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this, you should have strong administrative experience and have a knowledge of accounting functions, along with brief experience of working on financial systems. You should be a team player, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, along with being compute literate with a knowledge of Microsoft packages, including excel - familiarity with formulas and pivot tables is desirable. You will have a high attention to detail with a can-do, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude towards work.

In return for this, you will be offered a salary up to £26,000 depending on experience and will be working within a well-establish team, in a modern working environment. Along with fully flexible working hours, you will start with 28 days holiday, which will increase with years of service to 33 days. -IT literate; with a high competence in Excel

-Dealing with and escalating service complaints to ensure effective resolution for the customer and protecting the company image and brand

-Knowledge of warehousing operations



Additional information on this role

It would be preferred that you have previous experience of working in traffic, warehousing or logistics operations and can demonstrate good local geographical knowledge.

The following are the core responsibilities of the Medical Secretary. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Typing letters, reports and associated documentation as required b. Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently c. Managing all enquiries in an effective manner d. Maintaining an accurate referrals database e. Actioning all incoming email f. Processing calling letters as requested g. Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records h. Inputting data into the patients healthcare records as necessary i. Processing referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS) j.
