Position Purpose:

As the administrative coordinator for The Purina Animal Nutrition Center in Gray Summit, MO you will be providing support to the Senior Research Team and the overall facility.  We are looking for a self-motivated and self-directed individual who can work with multiple teams and enjoys a wide range of responsibilities in fast paced work environment.

Duties include:

• Managing content for digital applications for multiple species groups.
• Maintaining access to digital applications, platforms, and tools that support sales and technical groups.
• Act as the administrative support for the facility IACUC including scheduling and SharePoint site content.
• Coordinate weekly update meeting for the Tech Innovation group.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site meetings for technical groups.
• Work on organization of Purina Recruiting events for Technical Innovations.
• Work with the Ariba system for paying invoices and generating PO as needed.
• Work on travel arrangements and expense reports as needed.
• Schedule and plan farm events several times per year.
• Additional work will be assigned as needed.

Experience-Education (Required):

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years office/administrative experience
• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite products.

Competencies-Skills (Required):

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in learning about animal agriculture and the feed industry.
• Must be agile and adept at multi-tasking and changing directions quickly.
• Strong customer orientation and attention to detail.

Experience-Education (Preferred):

• Associate degree preferred.
• Understanding of animal agriculture preferred.

We're hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant (EA). In this role, you will provide direct support to the SVP, Executive Director of Land O’Lakes Venture 37, and provide support across the C-Suite as a shared resource. As an EA you’ll work to proactively manage and prioritize the ever-changing flow of the executive office by performing a diverse range of complex, confidential and time-sensitive duties.

Essential Duties:

• Provides sophisticated calendar management that maintains the executive’s schedule, including day-to-day management and long-term management of meetings, projects, and priorities
• Provides central support & coordination across the C-suite for compliance tracking, invoice management, expenses, catering, office-supply management & work-orders.
• Arranges complex domestic and international travel coordinating pre-departure through arrival details
• Coordinates events ranging from small to complex in person, virtual, and hybrid events, understands meeting technology and has the technical savvy to support events 
• Coordinates preparation of meeting briefings including agenda, meeting materials, key talking points, and research as requested  
• Collaborates across the EA team and acts as backup support as needed
• Is willing to be pulled into projects outside the immediate job description, where administrative support is needed
• Meet business deadlines which may require occasional working after business hours and/or weekends

Experience required:

• High School diploma/GED or higher
• 7 or more years of administrative support; including at a VP/C-suite level
• Proficient in planning and booking international travel arrangements, including but not limited to visa management and in-country coordination of ground travel and accommodations

Preferred Experience and Education:

• Experience operating in a high-profile executive assistant position that interacts with all levels of management including senior executives
• Experience interacting with Board members
• Post-secondary education strongly desired

• Assist in creating first drafts of business correspondence and presentations.
• Maintaining and organizing file management systems
• Creating and maintaining /compiling other weekly reports
• Coordinate employee moves/onboarding new employees
• Ensuring timely handling of invoices and payments in the Ariba system.
• Some work with external vendors and/or agencies required.

Experience/Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required . Bachelor’s degree or pursuit of degree desired.
• 3-5 years related work experience in an administrative support role. 
• Previous experience supporting senior director levels or Marketing desired.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite to include demonstrated proficiencies in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and/or One Drive, and Excel. 
• Experience with SharePoint administration strongly desired.
• Ability to learn and lead others in setting up webinars by using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other tools.
• Previous calendar and travel management along with larger event management planning experience required.
