You will deliver Claims audit oversight through the leadership of audit activity and the teams performing this, to provide stakeholders with an objective view of the effectiveness of AXA claims internal control framework / supplier external control environment. Oversight will be of both internal and external audit within Retail and Commercial Claims. What you’ll be doing:

Lead, motivate, manage and direct a team of 13 Auditors/Senior Auditors to deliver effective audit oversight that adds value to AXA Insurance Claims.
Lead the delivery of audit reviews across AXA Insurance Claims (internal) and 3rd parties and suppliers (external) in accordance with the annual review plan and to agreed targets and quality standards, including issue and action tracking processes, de-brief to senior staff on control gaps, and the production of accurate, timely and well-presented reports.
Develop and maintain systems and processes necessary for the efficient and timely delivery of audit reviews – including continuous improvement in approach.
Management of action tracking processes where issues are identified ensuring that regular updates are provided to senior management, and reported to key committees (CRC), as required. Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the risk and control environment within AXA, and how this may be impacted by future internal and external developments, recommending any changes to the audit plans and/or approach to reflect the changing risk profile.
