Accounting Executive assists the Management to support in account & finance, preparing full set of accounts for group and subsidiary and consolidated financial statement for group. Tasks include conduct a good internal controls, cost analyses and preparing accurate financial statements for management on time. This requires an understanding of the business structure, operations and financial performance. The Accounting Executive may need to execute ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing.
Preparing monthly financial statement of report
Providing cash flow statement
Providing month-end approval of journal entries
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assign account codes, allocation for transactions in financial accounting system
· Assist in preparing cost flow statement, profit and loss finacial statement, pay roll and HR
· Assist in the balance sheet statement and bank reconciliation process
· Assist in the budgeting for forecasting weekly & monthly cash flow
· Prepare accruals, prepayments and journals
· Good internal control
· Deadlines to achieve for month-end closing and journal posting ensure accurately compliance with standard financial records and statements set by the management
· Calculate customer/supplier account balances and reconcile with totals
· Compile relevant business documentation and filing system are put in place
· Keeping good filing system to maintain recorded files are easily trace and track
· Daily data entry accurately and timely into the financial accounting system
· Keep good internal controls of admin and accounting work
· Performance and update of weekly & monthly inventory stock in and out transacted record in financial accounting system
· Record transactions and events relating to assets, sales, purchases, receivables, payables and petty cash
· Submission for approval to retrieve and edit transacted error records from financial accounting system and pass journal entry for management signatory
· 5.5 day work week
