Industry Accounting Director

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced accounting director with data analysis and financial ERP system capabilities. This position will be responsible for the company's financial management, data analysis and ERP system implementation and optimization to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Supervise and manage the company's financial activities, including budget preparation, financial reporting, cash flow management and cost control.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Lead annual audit and tax filing work to ensure compliance.

Data Analysis:

Use data analysis tools and techniques to provide in-depth analysis and insights into financial data to support company strategic decisions.

Develop and maintain financial models to predict and analyze the company's financial performance.

Monitor key financial indicators, identify trends and potential risks, and make suggestions for improvement.

ERP System Management:

Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and optimization of the financial ERP system to ensure the efficient operation of the system.

Work with the IT department and other business departments to ensure the integration and data consistency of the ERP system.

Train and guide financial team members to ensure they are proficient in using the ERP system.

Team Leader:

Lead and develop the finance team, provide guidance and support, and enhance the team's professional capabilities and work efficiency.

Establish and maintain a good internal control system to ensure compliance and transparency of financial operations.

Job requirements:

Educational background:

Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, economics or related fields.

CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Work experience:

At least 8 years of financial management experience, including work experience in finance or related technology industries.

Have rich experience in data analysis and financial ERP system management, and be familiar with mainstream ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).

Skill requirements:

Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting.

Proficient in data analysis tools (such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and programming languages ​​(such as SQL, Python, etc.).

Have excellent leadership and team management experience, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with all levels of management and cross-departmental teams.

Other requirements:

Have in-depth understanding of the Web3.0 industry and relevant project experience.

Have a high sense of professional ethics and responsibility, and be able to handle sensitive financial information.

Because most of the clients are from China, Mandarin is a must.

The Audit Director is a senior level management position responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Citi’s Internal Audit (IA) function. The overall objective of the Audit Director is to direct audit activities that support a subset of a product line, function, or legal entity at the global or regional level, in accordance with IA standards, Citi policies, and local regulations.

This Audit Director role sits within the IA Banking and Client team, primarily focusing on audit assurance activities relating to corporate and investment banking, client coverage, research and marketing. This individual is expected to work in close collaboration with all IA teams to ensure adequate, timely and seamless audit coverage.  

Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of auditors to provide timely and complete assurance over banking and client-related activities, and supporting other assurance work as needed.
• Deliver multiple audit engagements and ensure the delivery of audit reports are complete, insightful, timely, error free and concise.
• Contribute to the delivery of reports outlining IA’s contributions, and oversee audit’s coverage and reporting on common high-risk areas.
• Provide independent assurance on the design and operating effectiveness of an area, at a global or regional level.
• Ensure timely delivery of comprehensive regulatory and internal audit issue validation, including issues arising from other external parties
• Ensure IA meets/exceeds strategic risk assurance coverage expectations and help to provide independent perspective.
• Improve the identification, measurement, management, reporting and controls in governance, risk and control environments.
• Support and endorse the Quality Assurance (QA) function of IA, and resolve issues found by QA, improving audit processes and coverage.
• Ensure the adoption of Citigroup and Citibank Audit Committee Charters and the IA Charter, and engage in internal/external negotiations.
• Oversee various tasks to build the audit team, including recruiting staff, developing and training the team, and managing the budget.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in a related role.
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
• Advanced level experience in a related role with extensive experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for executing concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.
• Specific subject matter expertise and strong business understanding of corporate and investment banking activities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and managing integrated internal audit and assurance delivery within a matrix reporting environment.
• A self-aware, self-confident individual who has well developed listening skills, and a strong ability to engage in broader group settings.
• Effective negotiation skills, a proactive, risk based and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views. This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and senior management.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing teams and making a positive impact on the organization.

• Leads validations owned by Risk and coordinates models subject matter expertise for all other audit teams.
• Proactively manages IA’s relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior risk and business executives, and government regulators.
• Uses communication and leadership skills to influence a wide range of senior internal and external audiences; provides impactful, valuable and ongoing IA input through active interactions with stakeholders and formal participation at key committees and management initiatives
• Possesses, through direct hands-on experience, a strong understanding of Audit and Risk and a technical knowledge of models; maintains an understanding of key relevant regulations, current business practices and industry trends.
