Standard BioTools is looking for a Senior/Accountant (Accounting and Payroll), Global Shared Service Centre reporting to the Senior Manager, GSSC to join the Singapore plant. This role is responsible for providing accounting and payroll support, primarily focusing on cash forecasting and end-to-end payroll but not limited to the below:
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Accounting related duties
- Manage the end-to-end cash forecasting process
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate cash forecast data inputs
- Monitor actual cash position against forecast and perform analytical reviews on variances
- Prepare cash forecast dashboards to facilitate management review
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance insights and quality of cash forecast data
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned
- Payroll related duties
- Manage the full payroll processing cycle for the region to ensure timely, accurate and complete processing of payroll transactions
- Collaborate with stakeholders from other departments such as HR and Manufacturing
- Prepare payroll accounting entries, audit schedules and reconciliation
- Facilitate payroll audits
- In charge of income tax filing and submission
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and payroll
- Adept at using ERP systems and MS Office applications
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Must possess a keen eye for details, strong sense of time urgency and ability to handle sensitive information in maintaining data confidentiality
