• Verifies Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Bradstreet information and ensures each vendor is in System for Award Management (SAM) and in good standing with the government to do business with;
• Verifies accountability of all prosthetics expenditures in both the purchase menu and the prosthetics program and associate all obligations to the individual veteran;
• Ensure the services provides are documented not only as the type of service, but the duration;
• Complex purchasing: requires irregular research, analysis, collaboration and many other steps to ensure both best value and the most appropriate devices are purchased for the Veterans;
• Routine purchasing: includes routine purchase orders on established contracts or through established vendor resources using regular significant research, analysis or collaboration;

The In-House Grounds Maintenance Operations Service is responsible for the maintenance of parks and open spaces, allotments, cemeteries, golf courses and semi-natural open space with assorted sports and play facilities within. Within this role you will be required to carry out a range of ground maintenance duties which will include grass cutting - using both specialised pedestrian and ride on grass cutting machinery, including golf course maintenance machinery. What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with experience in general ground maintenance, as well as a full driving licence. It would be an advantage to hold certification PA1 PA6 in herbicide and pesticide application or equivalent. You will be able to use tools and machinery required for the role and have experience of using garden machinery including riding on mowers. Working under supervisory instruction you will be able to follow set process and procedures but be able to work automatously when required, with the ability to plan and manage your time effectively. You will be flexible to provide cover at weekends and out of normal working hours when required.

About the role:

You are able to work a hybrid with 3 days working from the office in Southampton and 2 days working from home.

As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will:

• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by domestic abuse who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer and options for victims and survivors
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contribute to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
• Working as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients

You will need:

• Understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on victims
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s)
• Ability to balance competing needs and priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role
• Ability to manage a caseload including complex case management
• Ability to use generic IT applications competently.
• This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
