We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our ‘Outstanding’ school to work one to one with a pupil with additional needs.

Status: Fixed term until July 2025 initially

Start Date: December 2024

Hours: 30 hours (Term Time Only)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.45am 3.15pm

Salary: £25,183 - £27,269 per annum pro-rata (Actual Salary £17,073 - £18,487 per annum)

Main Duties:

To ensure that for all stakeholders, school facilities are in excellent and safe condition as a result of the highest possible standards of maintenance and care.

To provide a variety of essential maintenance, health and safety & security functions to aid the smooth running of the school.

The successful candidate will be someone who:

• Has a diligent work ethic
• Takes pride in delivering a quality service
• Has a friendly nature and can communicate in a professional manner with both pupils and staff and can work as part of a busy team
• Understands Health and Safety, COSHH and other regulations in relation to ensuring a safe working practice

• Previous experience of working within an education setting is desirable but full training will be provided
• Can demonstrate personal resilience and act as a role model to our pupils
• Be a great team player by being friendly and professional

The working hours will be: To be agreed at interview.

The hours will be scheduled to cover the opening and closing of our school building via a split shift.
